  • They literally just blew up my entire calendar removing reminders

Google just blew up my entire small business calendar and stopped our operations by removing reminders as a function without so much as bothering to notify me more than 24 HOURS before removing a key feature that housed 222 personal and business reminders, changed them to tasks with no notice, causing data loss and makikg my calendar look now likr a chaotic nightmare where I cant see any if my meetings Its going to take me days to fix this, find all my data, reorganize it. This is a feature theyve had for YEARS, you cant tell me they havent heen planning this for years and cant give their customers more than ONE DAY NOTICE. Its like they intentionally want to cause disruption and data loss. This was the last straw for me with this app.

New Review I came to Google because I loved having Reminders, Tasks and Google Keep Reminders all together in my calendar. It WAS a good thing. But for Google it seems, if it’s good then it needs to be wrecked. And that’s exactly what Google has done. 📌Eliminated Reminders 📌Everything is now a task 📌Disconnected Google Keep Reminders from the calendar 📌Google Task App is crappy, not showing half the tasks that I have on the calendar app, Tasks App doesn’t play well with Calendar App. Seriously thinking about my options outside of Google now. So tired of Google “fixing” what’s not broken!😡 Old Review So in Inbox for Google I set a reminder about a certain email. The reminder shows up in Google calendar but no indication of what email it's attached to. I click "see in email". It will not take me to Inbox, so I downloaded the regular email app (which is stupid...why should I have to duplicate?). The "link" takes me to the Google Mail app and that is where it ends. It doesn't link to the email, then I have to go open Inbox to locate the email in my pinned items. I would expect if the reminder is going to say view in email, then it is going to link direct to the email it is for, instead of leaving you scratching your head wondering what email it was. And what's the point of making you go to the email app that doesn't have the reminder attached to the email when you are going to have to go to the Inbox app anyway? It should take you direct to the email in question. IQTELL has this ability, it doesn't seem like Google should have a problem with that. It seems half baked to me. Dumb. If the reminder isn't going to take me directly to the email then I wish it would not clutter up my calendar.

  • Reminders slow to work after last update

I noticed after the last update that Reminders are very slow to appear on the calendar now when I tap to enable them. Sometimes they do not appear at all. I have to close the app and reopen.
  • Old

Pretty useless that OOO event types can’t be selected and the UI looks straight out of 1998.
  • Add Apple Watch App!

How is it that in 2023 there isn’t a Google Calendar App for Apple Watch!? I don’t want to add my google calendar through apple calendar to be able to link my calendar to Apple Watch for notifications. Please add a native Google Calendar App for Apple Watch!
  • I’m going to be able

Would like to see Lock Screen widget support for iOS 16. Specifically the top bar widget for upcoming events. This would be nice to have with Google Calendar. macOS Support for M processors.
