Every time someone calls me it doesn’t ring, just shows a missed call. I’ve followed all of the support guides and am very techy, I can’t figure it out. The app also needs RCS support for real texting.

You can’t send emojis or videos with this app. I would expect more from google.

Very unhappy that Google has decided to become unreliable for free users. I got banned wrongly for an account I use strictly for volunteering I do that requires a dedicated number. This is NOT a business (which Google tells you should not rely on Google Voice free for) but I depend on your service nevertheless and it is extremely frustrating to go through this days’ long outage, messing up my ability to carry out my volunteer responsibilities.
  • Great concept

Set up my account online, and it seemed to be working fine. But every time I try to use the app, it won’t even let me proceed with anything, it says “something went wrong. Try again later”. Sooooo I can’t use the app. Must be a bug but that’s concerning cause I can’t even properly rate the app.

This app is just about useless for people who don’t already have a existing phone service. Literally the majority of people who use this app do not have working phones, so how can you expect them to verify a phone number if that’s what they are trying to get in the first place. This app is counterintuitive to what it’s made for. Sure it’s a backup phone number used for business purposes and whatnot, but it should not require a phone number to get a phone number .-.
