How To Download Google Assistant On Chromebook

If you're looking to Download Google Assistant on your Chromebook laptop Then read the following guideline.

Google Assistant helps you get everyday tasks done more easily and is thoughtfully designed to offer help throughout your day while keeping your information private, safe and secure. Set reminders, get quick answers, find directions with Google Maps, and more while on-the-go with the help of your Google Assistant. With the Assistant app, you can: - Send text messages (e.g. "Text Kat “I’m on my way”) - Set reminders (e.g. "Remind me to buy a birthday gift for Sarah") - Play music (e.g. "Play jazz music on YouTube") - Navigate places (e.g. "Navigate to the nearest coffee shop") - Weather information (e.g. "What’s the weather today") - Learn more about your privacy controls (e.g., “Where can I change my privacy settings?”) -Delete your recent Google Assistant activity (e.g., “Delete what I said this week”)

No matter what the task is or how I say it, there’s an increasing chance that google assistant will either not understand me, or do the exact opposite of what I just plainly and clearly stated. Podcasts and music will change on their own. It will claim to set a timer when I ask, tell me there is no timer when I check on it, and then the timer it allegedly didn’t set will go off. Bluetooth disconnects itself seconds after I connect it, unless I sit and watch the settings screen for awhile. The volume levels will change themselves. I have ran through the typical cop-out troubleshooting of restarting/resetting things and the array of random problems have not improved. Half the time it starts to tell me information it found on the web, it cuts off a few words in with no explanation. Every day I find myself spending more and more time struggling to get this incompetent “assistant” to do the absolute most basic of tasks the way I ask. It’s getting 2 stars and not 1 star, because at least it’s not siri.

  • Lists?

What happened to the lists? It shows the list, then when I click on view list, it opens up another window that has lines for the items with a check box in front of each line, but I can't see the items. The lines are blank. Please fix. This happened with the update last week.
  • Stability an issue

I switched to Apple a 1+ yrs ago and this still isn’t working well. It seems as if it gets kicked out of memory almost. Half the time I launch it and it can’t seem to hear me. I have to force close and relaunch. And nearly 90% of the time I have to launch it to get it to start actually telling me my reminders. I don’t think it’s apples fault here since no other app has a problem giving me proper reminders. This breaks like after a day. And yes, I’ve reinstalled.

I absolutely hate using Siri! Google assistant is way more knowledgeable and easy to use! So thankful for this app!
  • Issue with twisted tales

I think the tale shouldn’t start all over when the assistant didn’t hear what you said, I suggest it should ask to start all over incase you didn’t hear or it should ask you to come again. And when you type to give an answer it just continues without the sound and that’s totally useless, all am saying is that you guys can improve on it and it’s a really nice feature though, Google assistant is still the best and looking at things it always will be. Thanks Susie.
