  • Keeps freezing when any other app happens to open up.

    I spent 30 minutes of my life playing this game, then I get a call on my phone, and the game freezes, I reopen the game and I’m back to the main area with skelly with all progress lost. This is not uncommon. If you do not plan to play the entire run right there and then, and you want to take a break, might as well kill the run because you will lose all your progress when you open it up again. If you don’t have at least an hour blocked out for the game, might as well never open it up. This game is fun but I don’t think i can be more mad right now with how many times this has happened to me restarting from beginning just because there is absolutely no saving any types of runs whenever you, god forbid, have anything else other than this game to do.

  • Great game with game-breaking bug

    Hades is one of my all-time favorites, and this port is AMAZING except for one bug that completely destroys any run. It happens when you open the codex while selecting boons. I saw other reviews mention this bug and hoped that they would have fixed it by now, but I just lost my best run yet due to this bug. Please fix this! UPDATE: I have no clue if they’ve fixed the bug, but I haven’t run into the problem again, and it really is a great port of Hades. 5 stars from me!

    Been enjoying it so far and I’m only in the beginning, this game reminds my a lot like dead cells. There are a bunch of weapons you get to choose from and there are really good character designs like good boy Cerberus. I can’t say much of my opinion though because I haven’t played the game that much.

  • Great game but small bug

    When you open the menu that lets you look at your boons during combat, it doesn’t pause the game. The first time this happened I didn’t know and I died as a result. It felt terrible since for no reason I died. It should pause so new players are not punished for no error on their part.

    I heard of hades for a while and decided to try it through Netflix since it was free. I LOVED it immediately and have a good number of hours on it, bought it on the switch even. I finally defeated Hades and tried to do a run as normal but it won’t let me select a boon thus I can’t proceed with the game. Hopefully this can be patched soon as I made most of my progress on mobile.

    Great game, clearly a lot of love and detail has gone into it. I really haven’t experienced any of the issues that some have had with the port. Really hoping that they’ll adapt Hades II to IOS!! 🤞
