  • “X” to skip PRO version is in upper right

I’m giving the app two stars because in my limited use so far the app sometimes cannot determine which language is being spoken and seems to defaults to assuming that one speaker talks and then the other… Where is sometimes of course the same person will make several statements that need to be translated. Also, on my iPhone 12 mini the “X” you need to click on to skip the PRO version and try the free one is a tiny white X on a white background in the upper right hand corner so it was very hard to see -Given all the complaints in prior reviews about people accidentally signing up for the annual plan, the developers should make it easier to skip the “free” trial (which if you forget to cancel you get charged a lot of money for).
  • Tricked into paying for a subscription

    By bsstoner
The screen said free, so I clicked through only to get email from Apple that I was charged $70. The link to support in the App Store doesn’t work. No way to request a refund through apple. So basically I’m out $70 for an app I just wanted to try. This spray rice shouldn’t be allowed on the App Store.
  • There is no “X”

    By Amy A. RN
I wanted to check this out but there is no way to do it except to sign up for the 7-day Pro trial. There is no “X” to close the pop-up.

  • 100/100

    Game changer
  • Cannot use app without subscribing

    By cryptobanker2
You cannot use this app without subscribing. Describing it as a free app is very misleading. UPDATE: Developer claims there is an “X” to close the subscribe window. THIS IS A LIE
  • No easy access to free option

    By surfmanvb
I don’t usually write reviews, but don’t appreciate being forced to sign up for free pro level trial before I can use free version. Your tactics should be reviewed.
  • Only Thing it Needs is More Languages!

    By PatrickCarnahan5
Awesome free app that’s beautifully designed, simple to use, and features a few obscure offerings not present on Google Translate (such as European Portuguese and Cantonese). Even the paid version seems well worth it given the overall quality of the experience. The relatively small selection of languages (compared to Google) is its only downside for now, but I suspect it will gain more languages over time and I look forward to seeing where it goes.
