Is a scam after purchasing it does nothing

Wow is all I can say!! This app used to be $20 for a year and now they want $60. Ur out ur ever loving mind. At least grandfather is in with the same price. I’ve been using this app for 10 years or so and now you want $60?! Bye bye. iOS 18 will have call recording now for free. You just lost a valued customer.

I can’t even get the app to open to pay for a subscription. It’s stuck in “Setting up account” mode. The graphic rotates for awhile then freezes. I wonder why there are so many terrible apps in the App Store? Why would you damage the company reputation with shipping a non-functioning app?

As someone who used TapeACall Pro for almost 9 years. Do not get this app! It used to be $8 a year for a solid 9 years. Now they want to charge you the consumer, $49.99 a year for the same features the $8 a year subscribers got! They want people to pay a monthly subscription which would equate close to the original yearly price. I cancelled my subscription when I found out they were charging $50 a year! I asked support what would happen to my recordings, since I need to back all those up. I was told as long as my phone number doesn’t change they are safe. Well tell me why. The day after I cancelled, I get hit with a paywall screen and cannot access anything until I do so! I contacted support weeks ago and still haven’t heard any answers to this! I thought my recording were safe! I only have 10 out of the hundreds i need backed up! That was a lie too? I am not giving this company a dime again! This company massively screwed themselves over and their loyal subscribers. iOS 18 introduces call recording soon built in! Cannot wait to use that!

I paid, went to log in, asks for your phone number and when you provide it you get a 6 digit verification code. But the app only allows you to enter 5 digits, so the code doesn’t work. So now I can’t use the app.

This app asks you to register your phone number by sending you a 6 digit code yet the app actually needs a 5 didn’t code. In in other words, the code they send you is one character too long and therefore can never be correct.

I just got this apps and cannot even accept my phone for sms verification, because of country which is not allowed when entering the phone number in order to receive sms verification

How do you expect me to verify my number with a 6 digit code when there’s only 5 slots to input a number. Refund me now!

Paid the 10.99 and it brings me to the activation part and the code it sends to my phone is too long for the spot to enter it. So it says I have the wrong code every time and I can’t even use the app

The app itself is great, especially after adding the transcription feature. Easy to use, quick, love that it's unlimited. However, I have been using it for the last several years and have paid 19.99/year to do do. It looks like it is going up to 69.99/year this year which is unbelievable and honestly outrageous. Will not renew my subscription going forward.
