  • New not good for me!

Lost lots of information when it updated to new calendar (previous version worked great!) Wish I could have it back. I’ve used this Calendar5 for years and recommended it to my friends. Today their new version automatically uploaded- just because I needed to get on my calendar to set in an appointment. Previous information was gone for that date. So could not enter a possible appointment. Sorry folks, out looking for a new calendar that will have the information/features I need/want - like the older version. Programmers now act differently than when I worked with them in my career - back then the policy was the “KISS” method of developing/programming apps! This isn’t for me. Bye Readdle
  • Fix the new update glitch with theme color…

After this latest update when I open the app some of the days in the month are black of some are white. I have my theme options in settings set to light, so I opened the settings and chose the black theme then set it back to white, that fixed it while the app was still open but if I swipe the app closed and reopen it the days are back to some being black and some being white. Please fix this glitch!
  • Not In Sync

The App on the Macbook doesn't completely sync with the app on the iphone which is frustating since i'm paying for a subscription. If I do work on the computer and try to pick up where I left off on the my iphone some of the things aren't added to the phone and i've tried doing a "Full Sync" and i've sent a email to the support team.

They keep poping up on my Calendars 5 saying to upgrade and retain all the features I currently have and they show me features under the pro. They took away Repeat Event, Attendees, Tasks and Reminders (and whatever else) and moved those features to subscription. If they're dishonest from the get-go then I can't continue with them even if I wanted to and I'll just have to move on

There is a big feature discrepancy between the iPhone version, iPad version, and Mac version. Doing something on the Mac can mess up the calendar on iPhone and iPad, and vice versa. Recurring calendar events are duplicated. Plans/Templates are only on Mac and not on any iOS or iPad device. Is this app still being updated or developed? I used this app last year and it seems it’s gotten worse with no new features at all.
  • Costs More with less Functionality

I’ve been a happy user of Calendar 5 for years, and was disappointed to hear that it was being phased out, and that the new version would be free at first, but become a subscription service. Out of inertia I downloaded Calendars when Calendar 5 ground to a halt. Today I was doubly downright annoyed to find out that it doesn’t sync automatically across devices when I opened it on my iPhone and found the Calendars blank. So far I haven’t been able to get it to sync although I’ve tried several sets of instructions. So 3 stars is a generous review IMHO.
