Constantly asks me to login. The advertisements throughout the feed are absolutely annoying and disrupt the feed. And then the occasional pop-up asking me to subscribe.
  • Horrible! Makes me sign in 3-4 times and change pw constantly

I am ready to cancel my annual subscription as it requires multiple login attempts and resetting of my password just to get to the ONE story I would like to read, and then it has a popup covering the story, asking me to subscribe! I AM subscribed! I AM logged in! This happens daily! Daily! It is NOT worth the time and effort it requires! I will read the WSJ and Times via their apps that actually RECOGNIZE ME AND WORK! This has gone on for months! The app seems to recognize my email and password and FACIAL RECOGNITION, and then blocking POP UP! Horrible app. I pay with a card, not through other apps like Apple. One would think it better, but it wants me to reinstate my purchase with Apple. It needs to work! I let it use facial recognition as I was so disgusted with this occurring multiple times per day. I’ll get a refund. Not worth the time!

I prefer the traditional newspaper format with a front page with 4-5 following pages. Then sports with sports page and supporting pages etc. like the Mineral Daily News example.
  • A fan for years

I’ve been a fan of the Des Moines Register for many years. It’s a new source I can trust. The Des Moines Register digs deeper into the stories than the online services.
  • Does not work on iPad

I can get the Register on my phone but not on iPad. Chat help was no help at all. I guess I will have to just delete my account and get my news elsewhere.
  • Keeps asking me to subscribe

Despite being a Register subscriber and being signed in with my Register account, it keeps asking me to subscribe over and over.
  • App has been changed and now subscribers get bombarded with pop-ups to subscribe!

I am VERY unhappy about how this app has changed! I have been a long-time (over 10 years) subscriber and this app only recently has done this! There is no support available to address this issue either! I am close to removing the app all together!
  • Terrible app

Where to begin, I can’t use the app without agreeing to do adds and to allow the app to share information about myself. This is one of the worse apps ever.
  • Awful

I’ve had a digital subscription to the DMR for at least 12 years. Recently this app repeatedly asks me to sign in to read articles even after I’ve signed in. Today I signed in 4 times in one session and each time it took me back to the sign in page. I have subscriptions to The NY Times and Washington Post, both of which cost much less than the DMR subscription, but I never have any problems with those apps. I’m so frustrated that I’ll probably cancel my DMR subscription.
