  • Piece of garbage

    By WingNut9574
Cannot view content on Home Screen; it is blank and will not update. Help screens in app describe something other than what is actually in the app. Three inquiries have gone unanswered. Customer service is non-existent. Resigned to reading WAPO & SF Chronicle, whose apps work flawlessly.
  • iPhone issues

    By SactoJ
I use an iPhone XS with the most up to date version of iOS. News feed never works. I have deleted the app, rebooted the phone and reinstalled the app, cleared the cache etc. works fine on my iPad. The help screens talk about settings going to “my account”. There is no “my account” button/tab/option. There does not seem to be a way to log in or Out.
  • Frequent crashes

The iPad version crashes two or three times a week and must be deleted and downloaded again. Each download requires you to set up preferences again. This has been the case for over two years and they have made little effort to fix the problem.
  • App does not work at all

    By GollyGWillikerz
This app usd to work then three months ago it would fail to fetch any Topics or articles. I've had to read the e-edition option, which is the full print page version. On phone it is cumbersome at best. SacBee you beed to fix the app!
  • Subscriber and can’t even read the news

App keeps going back to home page when I’m reading an article. Tried multiple articles it keeps going back. Please fix.
  • Disappointed with Functionality

    By Edhvoice
Let me start out by saying that I am pulling for the Bee. It performs a very important civic function by shining light into dark places. With that said, The App works well in my iPhone, but not so much on my iPad. When using the iPad, I get an error message “Pull to Refresh”. No joy.. Pulling but no refreshing. I tried the help line, but didnt get a resolution. Sigh.
  • Waste!

When are they going to fix this app? Embarrassing for the state capital main newspaper. SMH
  • Nowhere to login, “Error fetching feeds”

    By KR-max
As a subscriber, I’m confused and frustrated by this app. The User Guide says: “ To restore, tap the Settings button on the bottom right corner of the app. Once on the Settings screen, tap “My Account“ on the upper right side. “ However, there is no “My Account” on the settings screen. I’ve deleted and re-installed the app to no avail. The only thing that seems to work in the app is downloading an eEdition.
  • App doesn’t work

I have been receiving an error stating “error fetching feeds” for months. I have asked for help and have been asked to reinstall the app and clear the cookies in my browser. Nothing has worked. I’m about to cancel my subscription.
  • Unstable App

    By Linda Lou 66
The Sac Bee’s app is horribly unstable on my iPhone 13. A few seconds after articles are opened for reading, they abruptly close. Reopening articles is pointless, as they immediately close again. This happens with 10-20% of the articles I try to read. Deleting and re-installing the app does not help. I’ve been a subscriber for over 20 years, and this problem has only been present for the past year. I thought it would be a temporary issue, but it certainly is not. It’s way past time for Sac Bee to get this fixed.
