  • Doesn’t Track on a Regular basis

    By TP- two
Like many other users - Map my Run fails to record after 5-7 seconds of most workouts. I have to keep my phone in my hand and app open for first half mile or so - very annoying - especially for a paid app. Have been using Map my run for a long time and wouldn’t want to switch - but may be forced to. PLEASE FIX this bug!!!!
  • GPS seems a bit off

MIT may be my phone, but the GPS seems a bit off.
  • Great app and easy to use.

    By gryphyx
Terrific interface. Very intuitive and worth the $30 a year to easily map and record and plan all my activities. I do wish there was a feature that allowed me to enable the timer to stop timing after, say, some variable 3, 5, 10, 15 seconds etc and then to automatically start again after movement of 3 ft over 1 second is detected or something like that. Its so that, when running and biking in the city, those pesky stops at the crosswalk and red lights can be better analyzed. Its a great f’ing app regardless. Greg in Seattle

  • MVP Upgrade

    By lousycaddie
Internet 101, do no put free features behind a pay wall. Made the switch to UA HOVR running shoes and this app last year. Other than the many times the display lock fails, no issues until this update. Intervals now requires MVP. Foggy shows for weather, MVP required for temperature, wind and direction. It is not enough to pay a premium for the logo, a monthly premium is now expected to get the same run info free 2 weeks ago. What’s next, a step meter? UA is too greedy, too evil for me to buy any further UA items.
  • Works perfectly for me

    By Bay_hiker
I’ve used the app forever (the first run in my log is 1/12/2015). I don’t think I could run without it. It does exactly what I need - tracks my runs consistently and lets me track progress and look up runs to see how my performance compares to the last time I ran a race on the same course. It tracks elevation change, pace, and cadence. With my Apple Watch, it also records heart rate along the run. Many of the complaints I see can either be solved by changing settings - and understanding that GPS isn’t exact. Mileages reported on the app are always going to vary somewhat. The app’s distances for my regular routes are pretty much always consistent within a few hundredths of a mile longer or shorter. There are reviews that mention the app stopping during a run or not tracking a run. That’s got to be frustrating, but I can say it’s happened to me maybe 5 or 6 times over the 7+ years I’ve used it. If you’re looking for a run tracker, get this one. The 4.8 user rating is deserved.
  • Stops recording!

    By Ben847294
Good otherwise. When I use it for biking, almost EVERY TIME, by a couple miles the app has closed and stopped tracking so I have to open it and then it starts tracking again, but with however many lost miles.
  • MapMyRunun is awesome!

Using the tools of MapMyRun I gain confidence and strength. Technology does not come easy to me, but MapMyRun makes it simple. It’s great to be able to seek out routes, create new routes, and just look back at my old workouts.
  • Recent issues with Garmin Sync

    By DoTheDew1233
I have been using MMR since 2013 with various accessories (Apple Watches and now Garmin Fenix 6) and will randomly encounter annoying syncing issues. I’ll complete a workout on my watch, sync it to Garmin Connect (no issues here) but then the workout will not sync to MMR. The workaround is to disconnect and reconnect Garmin from MMR but this sometimes does not work. I don’t know what changed but it’s extremely frustrating to no longer have a reliable place to sync my workouts. Support offers canned responses that do not permanently correct the problem. Hope someone out there sees this and is able to implement a solution.
  • I love it!

I have been using this app for a few months and have loved it! I am currently training to start cross-country after being a sprinter all my life, and this app has really helped me! I have tried multiple other running apps but always come back to this one. I really this app and will continue to use it!
