  • Not worth it!

My son can hack into it and the location doesn’t work half of the time. Not worth the money!
  • I don’t recommend

I have had so many problems with this app on my daughters phone. We’ve downloaded straight from the website vs the app stores like google play due to restrictions google places on privacy. Anyways….no matter the limits we set or time blocks she still goes over. It’s like the app cannot allot for time spent on a call, WiFi call, google duo, and even texting sometimes. She’s able to go over the limits every time. It defeats the purpose of setting limits and time frames for kids. Even when I block things that aren’t a game, she’s able to still access it. Idk why that is. I’ve followed everything they’ve told me wit updating and it still does it 🤷🏻‍♀️
  • Calls & SMS for ios

    By Phil-Am
We’ve been using this app for several years now. I give it a four out of five because we’ve been hoping it would get Calls & SMS monitoring for iPhones. Is this never going to happen? I’ve seen other applications with this capability.
  • Easy to manipulate restrictions

    By Dknow6457
We've used this for over a year, mostly on my daughter's phone(iOS). Worked great. However my son recently got a phone (android) and he can hack into anything we've tried to restrict. ie: daily time limits, restricted times, YouTube access. It's so frustrating. At this point the only good thing about it is I can typically see his location as well as a history of what he is doing. But it's so frustrating that he can easily be on his phone when I've set it up that he shouldn't be. Not really worth the money.
  • 8 year old found a way around it!!

I grounded my kids for a few days and stopped allowed time,to no time at all. I come home and there on you tube and other apps. I set it to hide all apps.
  • Not allowing Call log or SMS monitoring on iPhone

    By vhadash
APP seems good, but doesn’t allow for Call or SMS monitoring which is a must. Probably going to cancel subscription and find an app that will do that.
  • Does not work with Life360

    By ksflyguy
We’ve been using Qustodio for a couple of years now. Its had different bugs here and there but that is to be expected. We recently purchased Life360 and found it would not work with Qustodio. We opened a support case and the response was generic stating it wouldn’t work with certain programs. This is a pretty big deal for our family as physical security is just as important as keeping kids from seeing something they shouldn’t. So we will be removing Qustodio to get Life360 to work.
  • Not sure how the rating is a 4…

Initially it seemed like this app offered a great value and provided control for my son to safely use his phone. We have regular discussions about what is appropriate to search for on his device (s). We assumed that Qustodio would provide a “safer” environment for him to use his phone for school and for fun. It provides updates, though it’s obvious that it isn’t difficult to do simple workarounds for restrictions to get to content that should very obviously be restricted. I’ve concluded that the app is actually dangerous as it left me to believe that it would provide control or restriction to certain content. I’m giving it another week, but I have now removed all ability to use a search engine, and that doesn’t seem like it helps to provide that control we were looking for. It seems like it may be a case of “you get what you pay for.”
  • Not great for IOS

While it is a nice looking easy to use app the function of viewing texts is not available on iOS only android
  • So many issues, hard to get ahold of help

    By CommanderRabbit
I really wanted to like this, but unfortunately it has been issue after issue. App specific time limits do not always work, for instance I limited Minecraft to 30 min but it will count up to 29 and then stop registering the time, letting him play indefinitely. It is blocking random apps on my other son’s phone. I sometimes can get it to work by reinstalling the profile but this does not last. I have gone back and forth with help which is only through email so it is a long process. I am currently waiting to hear back about how to get a refund.
