  • If You Don’t Have $$$$, Don’t Expect Much

I really wanted to enjoy this game and for the first couple of days I had it, I did. But it’s become clear that Topps is only interested in catering to the people who can afford to drop hundreds of dollars on this that the people who can’t. As an example, I’ve been trying to get some cards from a set that they released yesterday using just the coins. Everyday you can complete missions to get coins, however your ability to get coins is severely limited unless you want to watch adds or fill out surveys on a separate site to earn coins. The packs in this set cost 3000 coins each with a 1:8 chance of getting a rare and lower odds of getting a super rare. Since yesterday I’ve opened 20 packs just using coins and I have gotten 0 cards in the set. This isn’t exclusive to just this set, it’s across all sets. The odds of getting cards from the set are so slim unless you buy diamonds to exchange for packs with guaranteed drops and even then, to get the card you want you have to buy a lot of diamonds to crack packs until you get it. Or you can trade with other players to get those cards, but if the card is “valuable” nobody will trade it unless you give them all of the good cards that you have, even if they have duplicates. I’ve been playing and collecting physical TCGs for over decade and I can at least get something for my money. I’m always guaranteed at least one rare or higher in a booster pack and getting cards on the secondary market as singles isn’t as hard as it is on this app. Topps could have created a really enjoyable experience for players, but like most companies that are in the collectibles market, they start making products that are really only accessible to high end collectors with the liquidity to spend money on it. I’m going to uninstall the app. I was hoping to have fun collecting cards that didn’t take up physical space, but I just haven’t.
  • Fun way to scratch that collectors itch

I grew up collecting cards, comics, coins, stamps… you name it. I’ll admit, that at first, I thought the idea of a digital collection was silly and too abstract. But the more i thought about it, where are my physical cards? Tucked away in binders and boxes. While there was always something satisfying about putting those last cards for a set in a binder, there is also something kinda liberating about allowing the app to sort, organize, and store your collection. Also, being able to trade w people to complete sets is very fun and satisfying. Granted, you have to weed through a handful of greedy vultures on the trade market, there are plenty of honest, even generous ones out there. Lastly, you don’t have to break the bank to play this. There is the option to spend, if you see a set that really catches your eye, but plenty of fun cards and complete collections can be had by accumulating free coins, fusing cards, and completing challenges. Ultimately, a fun way to pass time on the train, the waiting room, wherever you mess around w your phone.. except that you actually feel the sense of owning some assets w some value at the end of the day, as opposed to just high scores in a game.

You should check the reviews on topps digital archive (of dead card trader apps) before spending any real money collecting cards here.

I love the game and the concept, but I got charged twice for a purchase and it really ruined the experience. I no longer want to spend money on the game and it’s the only way to get epic cards reliably
  • I love it

Game is cool, but not the community. If you want to collect heroes after they sold out then it’s pretty much obsolete unless you give your top “rarest” stuff for just one thing you want. Love the concept but the players are SWEATY when it comes to trades 🧼🚿

This game is fun and addicting, but it crashes constantly to the point where I get cheated out of spins and credits, because it crashes in the middle of activity.
  • Broken app

It won't download and says check connection (which is good) and if it doesn't work contact support. Not going to bother with the run around.
  • Love this!
