  • Missing features and failed to open

    Although the quality of sound and song suggestions are outstanding there are a couple features I wish tidal would incorporate and one fatal flaw. Feature 1. There is no HUD (heads up display) library option (you can’t scroll through your playlist to pick a song while driving. Feature 2. No option to turn on a crossfade (+10 points if they add an option to adjust the seconds on crossfade too). The fatal flaw: The app just simply won’t start/open about 80% of the time. From my research done this is due to large amounts of downloads. Lots of complaints about bad customer service. Although I haven’t had any experience with customer service.

    I signed up for Tidal last month. As of yesterday, I was able to listen to music on ‘Max’ quality. Today, when I opened the app, ‘Max’ is no longer available and is replaced with ‘High’. The sound quality on Tidal was amazing on the ‘Max’ setting. Today, listening to music on Tidal isn’t any different than Apple Music, Spotify and Amazon. Bottom line, if you’re looking for a decent music app don’t go with Tidal. Spotify has better sound quality and is cheaper.

    I’ve been using Tidal for the past 5 years now (since 2019), from a friend’s recommendation. As a music lover, this is simply the best sound quality you can get in my opinion. Clean and easy to use user interface as well. I have no complaints - keep doing what you’re doing, Tidal. Highly recommend if you’re a music lover! 🎶🎵

    As a seasoned application developer I am seriously disappointed with the level of maturity of the developers who are working for a company that is demanding its loyal customer pay $13.99 a month for this application. I am an avid user of this platform as I believe in the product mission but I am constantly frustrated when I want to play music from this streaming service which I pay $13.99/month for but every time I attempt to open this application on my phone the app will hang for 10-15 seconds and then crash back to the home page with 0 error codes or any other information on why the application may have crashed This has been an issue that has been ongoing for me as a user for over 4 months now and I have tweeted at the support team multiple fields with 0 response so I am trying every channel I can find to resolve this I am absolutely unhappy with this experience and Apple should delist this application if the developers do not address this issue ASAP!!!!

    Sounds great. Selection pretty good. Stability issues every day now. Have to restart multiple times. Assume they are focused on the MQA to flac thing and not bug fixing. Instability is becoming problematic as it increases. Same issue on iPhone and PC version. Please fix it. Tries to play two songs at once. Also says it is playing one song but it is playing a different one. Ugh.
