How To Download VoiceMap Audio Tours On Chromebook

If you're looking to Download VoiceMap Audio Tours on your Chromebook laptop Then read the following guideline.

Experience the magic of GPS audio walks, cycles, drives and even boat rides with VoiceMap tours in 300 destinations worldwide. They’re like podcasts that move with you, to tell stories about what you’re seeing right now. VoiceMap’s tours are produced by insightful local storytellers, including journalists, filmmakers, novelists, podcasters, and tour guides. Sir Ian McKellen has even created a tour. It's around London's West End, where he has performed for over 50 years. Features: ◆ VoiceMap works offline. After you download a tour, the audio will be available offline along with an offline map. ◆ With GPS autoplay, you can focus on your surroundings, not the screen. Tap on Start, and let VoiceMap guide you. ◆ If you do go off in the wrong direction, VoiceMap plays an audio alert, and you can follow the map on your screen to the next location. ◆ Listen to tours as many times as you like both in the destination and in virtual tour mode at home ◆ With nearly 1,000 free and paid tours, VoiceMap offers huge variety. Reviews and Testimonials: "High-quality self-guided walking tours...Narrated by local experts, they provide insight into corners of the city sometimes overlooked by regular guided tours." Lonely Planet “We may be biased, but could there be anything more helpful than having a journalist in your pocket when touring a new city? How about a historian, a novelist or just a really passionate local? VoiceMap culls city-specific stories from them all and fits them neatly into walking tours.” New York Times “Great value for money, interesting and very clear and easy to follow! I learnt lots about London I didn't already know and I have lived here over 30 years.” Carmella V. London’s Alternative History Tour "I loved the tour, bought all of the New Orleans ones you had and have already recommended it to two people. As an amateur photographer who likes to take his time it was great. I will without a doubt continue to use the app." Jeremy L Faith & Courage: Metairie Cemetery Stories, New Orleans “Loved this! Real eye opener for me as a new resident of Singapore who thought this only an island of foodies and engineers. LOL! Please produce more soon!” Craig DeLarge Artoholic Singapore “I did my first VoiceMap tour and the Chanel tour blew me away. I can only recommend.” Christelle Colman Coco Chanel's Paris "My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this 'talk and walk'. A real eye opener and superbly narrated. This is a first class experience, our first with VoiceMap, and we look forward to using this program frequently in other cities. " Keith F Witches Riots and the Cold War, Berlin ** Just so you know, GPS runs in the background while you're on a tour. This decreases battery life and it's best to start a tour with your device fully charged.

  • Walking Wonders - Paris

Excellent audio tour. Geography and stories were perfectly synced. Descriptions of streets and landmarks were easily identified throughout. We never got lost. Marie (our virtual tour guide) made Marais come alive for us.
  • Awesome voice tour

  • The Ultimate Sports History of Eau Claire

    By Jay Toyota
Wow, who knew? As a resident of Eau Claire for over three decades, I learned a LOT in this 90 minute tour. Yes I know about the Hank Aaron statue at Carson Park, and I’ve been to the top of the ski hill ramp out at Silvermine, but there’s a lot of sorts-related things I did not know that have gone on in this community of mine. Roger has touched on every imaginable nationally recognized sport that has an Eau Claire connection in this driving tour around town. The map on the app is easy to follow and so are the instructions from Jenny your timely navigator. We would’ve finished in 90 minutes, except we had to take a detour at the Roadside Diner leaving Carson Park. Did you know it takes at least 15 minutes to eat one of their Noveltys on a stick? A well-spent summer Sunday afternoon. Roger you knocked it out of the park! JayB

My husband and I recently traveled to Paris and did 3 walking tours by Annie Sargent of Join us in France. It enhanced out time tremendously and I would never go anywhere again without checking out which voice map tours are available to us. Lankner

  • Loved it!

    By fishiversity
Try this for the first time just today and our family really enjoyed it. Not only was it reasonable, in price, but the information and narration was excellent. We were on our own as a family instead of in a big group, and we could stop and take a break or look around off the beaten path anywhere we wanted to. Will probably do similar things in more cities that we visit. Thanks for a great app!
  • Super fun!

    Very informative and fun!!
  • Events to be understood need to be connected

    By owlman68
This series of stories about buildings is great as far as it goes. But I wish the guide author had connected the dots. Events happen over time and the lack of a chronology makes the events less comprehensible. A walking tour is not able to replace a history book. But it can connect the dots better.
