How To Download VoiceMap Audio Tours On Chromebook

If you're looking to Download VoiceMap Audio Tours on your Chromebook laptop Then read the following guideline.

Experience the magic of GPS audio walks, cycles, drives and even boat rides with VoiceMap tours in over 300 destinations worldwide. They’re like podcasts that move with you, to tell stories about what you’re seeing right now. VoiceMap’s tours are produced by insightful local storytellers, including journalists, filmmakers, novelists, podcasters, and tour guides. Sir Ian McKellen has even created a tour. It's around London's West End, where he has performed for over 50 years. Features: ◆ VoiceMap works offline. After you download a tour, the audio will be available offline along with an offline map. ◆ With GPS autoplay, you can focus on your surroundings, not the screen. Tap on Start, and let VoiceMap guide you. ◆ If you do go off in the wrong direction, VoiceMap plays an audio alert, and you can follow the map on your screen to the next location. ◆ Listen to tours as many times as you like both in the destination and in virtual tour mode at home ◆ With nearly 1,000 free and paid tours, VoiceMap offers huge variety Reviews and Testimonials: "High-quality self-guided walking tours...Narrated by local experts, they provide insight into corners of the city sometimes overlooked by regular guided tours." Lonely Planet “We may be biased, but could there be anything more helpful than having a journalist in your pocket when touring a new city? How about a historian, a novelist or just a really passionate local? VoiceMap culls city-specific stories from them all and fits them neatly into walking tours.” New York Times “Great value for money, interesting and very clear and easy to follow! I learnt lots about London I didn't already know and I have lived here over 30 years.” Carmella V. London’s Alternative History Tour "I loved the tour, bought all of the New Orleans ones you had and have already recommended it to two people. As an amateur photographer who likes to take his time it was great. I will without a doubt continue to use the app." Jeremy L Faith & Courage: Metairie Cemetery Stories, New Orleans “Loved this! Real eye opener for me as a new resident of Singapore who thought this only an island of foodies and engineers. LOL! Please produce more soon!” Craig DeLarge Artoholic Singapore “I did my first VoiceMap tour and the Chanel tour blew me away. I can only recommend.” Christelle Colman Coco Chanel's Paris "My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this 'talk and walk'. A real eye opener and superbly narrated. This is a first class experience, our first with VoiceMap, and we look forward to using this program frequently in other cities. " Keith F Witches Riots and the Cold War, Berlin ** Just so you know, GPS runs in the background while you're on a tour. This decreases battery life and it's best to start a tour with your device fully charged.

I rarely leave reviews, but this app impressed me so much I couldn’t not. I did a tour in Vienna and nearly missed my flight I was so interested! It works extremely well. Overall, I was very impressed and will definitely be using it more!

The audio tour was pretty decent! A road closure made the tour a little difficult to get back on track, but I was able to go back and forth on the app to a specific location I wanted to. Worth it!
  • Nashville self guided walking tour

Thoroughly enjoyed and learned a good deal about Nashville in the process. Only 4 star b/c recording hard to hear when walking on Broadway due to the volume of music coming from the bars. Perhaps best to do this tour before noon.

Great walking tour of Venice for the whole family. The zombie backstory kept the kids (8 and 13) interested the whole time, and enough historic points of interest to be educational and interesting for the adults.

I’ve listen to 3 of the tours in NYC, a great interactive tour to guide you through the city while listening to the history as the city has changed. Highly recommend for a first time visit or if you’ve lived here for years and you want to know more about the history of your city

Enjoyed the interesting history. Lots of cute shops and places to eat or snack. Nice stop at the pioneer living museum where we panned for gold and used the restroom. We spent 4-5 hours enjoying all the sights and didn't make it to the last stop: the beautiful truss bridge, though we did drive by it and listened to the last of the audio in the car. I like how the app lets you go at your own pace and repeat or advance as needed. We didn't bring headphones but they would have been helpful due to the street noise. Also be careful at some of the busy crossings!
  • Excellent tour of Toulouse - not to be missed

For first time or return visitors, this is an excellent VoiceMap tour of the old city center area of Toulouse. Not only is Elyse an excellent historian/art historian, but she also gives wonderful context to the buildings, but also adds details and notes of places you might want to pause at or return to after the tour to take a closer look. Also don’t miss her conversations that you can access through the website and podcast called Join Us in France. There are many episodes that take place in Toulouse and great ideas for day trips in and around Toulouse.

Fabulous tour! The directions are thorough and clear, even for direction-challenged folks like me. The stories along the way are interesting and fun. Heather and Peter are perfect tour guides!
