  • Second review after about two years

Don[t hook. up without it!! If you live in a totally wireless (except 240-volt AC power) environment, only cellular and satellite, well, .... you can imagine. About network difficulties I know a LOT. This app helps a LOT. Does exactly what it promises with no fuss. Transparent. Always there. Gives you your public IPv4 and IPv6 addresses for each active connection, Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth or Thunderbolt. I have had this through several versions of macOS including the present 11.1 Big Sur, always with five star results.
  • works fine, but annoying review prompts

I really wanted to do something else, but this annoying software pops up review prompts.
  • Required app if you use Ethernet off a hub

    By FilterJoe
This app works as advertised. For whatever reason, on some Macs (such as my MacBook Pro 2015) that have no built-in Ethernet, the Mac OS does NOT honor the order you set in system preferences. So even though I tell it to use Ethernet before using WiFi, it won't do that sometimes. So to prioritize Ethernet, I have to rearrange the order (sometimes giving it backwards instructions works!). And without this utility, I'd have no idea whether Ethernet or WiFi is being used. The simple thing to do, of course, is keep WiFi off most of the time. But sometimes Apple wants you to have WiFi on for other reasons, such as using Apple Watch to unlock your Mac. The annoying hassle on Mac OS related to Ethernet is made bearable by this app.
  • Not great

Does not start up everytime I open the app. If that was better it would be perfect for what I need.
  • App stopped working after a few days

App stopped working on Catalina after a few days. Opened a support ticket and never heard back. Very frustrating for this to happen with an app i paid for.
  • App stopped working on Catalina

App stopped working on Catalina, submitted a support request and it was never reviewed. Months have passed with a promised update that never came. The app is a scam!

    Great tool!
  • Works sometimes (Catalina, 10.15.6)

While you can access ethernet information, the menurbar icon often preferences your WiFi connection and thus you cannot tell if your ethernet connection is working without clicking into the menubar icon. If ethernet is connected, the icon should reflect that over WiFi.
  • Apple's missing Network Diagnostics

Let's me see quickly if I am connected to internet (thanks Apple for removing Network Diagnostics after El Capitan...). Nice to have in Menu Bar, and shows multiple network connections.
