    A little disappointed in this app. It makes you pay for “roses” to send to the people that are actually your type while you waste time swiping through people who are not. At least other apps allow you (FOR FREE) to swipe through everyone no matter your type. Seems like the only way to meet someone you’re interested in is to pay money.

    Probably the best dating type app. There are definitely things I would change however. Firstly being able to opt-out of being put into standouts, because it can restrict your match potential significantly it your are put in a lot of people’s standouts. Another would be being able to set your own dealbreaker categories rather than keeping the default so for example if you didn’t care about religion and cared more about politics, smoking, or children you could set those as the dealbreaker. All this being said I thing it is still technically the best dating app.

    So this is owned by Match.com! You can tell too by all the extras you have to purchase to be able to use the app! You also have to purchase extra boosts which are expensive to have them show your profile! Yep it’s match.com 2.0! How do I know, I reported a fake profile and in the fine print of the email I received, it said Match.com! You can’t make this stuff up!

  • Garbage inactive profiles, phishing profiles. Not worth a dime

    Majority of accounts are inactive profiles and phishing profiles. Have sent the maximum likes in a row for five days in a row for two weeks and not received one message in return. Garbage app. Most matches that send likes when you are inactive are fake profiles of individuals whose hometowns are out of the country. The men are picture perfect, liberal and agnostic. They also will pretend not to understand what you are saying. If you tell them you will report them and know they are fake stop phishing. They will immediately disappear. This app is just the same as the rest. They all lack quality control and true real content - real, not bot profiles. So far large waste of time with no real active members. Wouldn’t spend a dime on this app

    I have been banned/exiled from the two most popular online dating communities (Tinder and Hinge..Match owns Tinder and Hinge for those of you who don’t know). I have been banned and treated like a sex offender, all without any chance to explain my case at all. I was very careful because I know these dating apps, specifically any owned by Match, are notorious for banning users for the simplest things like someone disagreeing with someone and they get banned because someone reported them for disagreeing. I am 35 years old, have social anxiety, and I live in a region of the country that has less people in the city than Manhattan has on three blocks. Safe to say, I NEED Hinge to find my life partner, but instead, I have been exiled for LIFE, for sending the red flag emoji to women and not even given a chance to explain anything, and not given a chance to correct my behavior and find love…because everyone working at Hinge and for the Match company has never made any mistakes themselves apparently. Meanwhile, plenty of women responded favorably to the red flag emoji. It was used as an introductory flirt. I’m 35 years old, I work in the human services industry, I help families, and I help troubled children and foster children. I literally used to work in a New York State psych center which houses recidivist sex offenders, which the Match company has made me feel like I am one of them now. That being said, I believe I was banned because I was sending the red flag emoji to a lot of women, because one of my lady friends told me that men need to be different because women get asked “hey how are you?” Or “wow you’re beautiful” at least 50 times per week. A lot of the woman responded favorably to the red flag emoji. Hinge did not warn me that what I’m going is going against community guidelines. Hinge did not give me a warning at all. The red flag emoji led to plenty of positive conversations and dates. I was not given a chance to never do that again. Instead, Hinge thought I should be banned, for life, for sending the red flag emoji 🚩. That being said, it’s a great app if you don’t get wrongly, randomly, and unjustly banned.
