  • Won’t give you a refund when items are missing

    Cali life. Real busy. Try to order groceries to not be so overwhelmed. 1 day an order will be fantastic, then the next time your groceries are half defrosted, missing things, and an hour late, this time I was missing an item and I reported it and they wouldn’t give me my less than $2 refund for the missing item because I have “too many refund requests”. LOL well sorry for not wanting to pay for items I don’t recieve half the time. It’s the shoppers accidently giving them to other people, I know this because one time I received a bag of stuff I didn’t order 🤨 so I know that’s what’s happening with my missing stuff all the time. Don’t use this app. ✌🏻

    I maintain a List for items I frequently purchase. Sometimes I would like to remove an item that is marked “Unavailable” but those items don’t show up in the list when I edit the list. Is there a way to remove the “Unavailable” items?

    My rating is one star due to uncertainty about the visibility of feedback on 4 star reviews, I'm a frequent user of Instacart, utilizing it for 99% of my grocery needs. To enhance the user experience, I suggest two key features: Firstly, implementing a notification system for restocked items would greatly improve convenience. Secondly, introducing the option to apply credits instead of automatically refunding money to the card would be a valuable addition.

    If Instacart doesn’t work for you, you will be on your own. There is zero support for this app and you will probably lose whatever delivery you paid for. Buyer beware!

  • The search algorithm is atrocious!

    If you go through the Publix app and look at what they have it doesn’t match on Instacart. It’s frustrating to be looking for a specific item let’s say the 4.4lb bag of chicken nuggets, it’s only going to show you a 20oz bag. Then the related items aren’t even related at all. Even if I search for a specific brand I’ll get one item from that brand and then it’ll recommended something I’m not looking for at all.

    Recently had 2orders with Instacart, and my experiences are bad. The first driver kept changing the ETA and arrived 45 minutes later than the expected time. The second driver was terrible, $6 long-distance fee plus all other service fees but delivered almost 1 hour late, and did not follow the instructions I left (bring it to my doorstep), I told him there was a parking place for delivery guys on the street but he ignored my message, argued with the doorman even though doorman told him we don't have a refrigerator at the lobby so they can't accept the fresh/frozen delivery, he drops the order at the table and lied about I permitted him to leave downstairs. I reported the second driver’s issue to customer service and all they did was block the driver from my account he is not going to receive any of my orders. That's it???? Uber Eats can do much better than this. Deleted App already.

    Tried to place an order through the app, but after checking out my order was immediately cancelled for trying to use a promo code… they charged my card and only issue a refund 5-10 business days later. Terrible service.
