How To Download Dropbox: Cloud Photo Storage On Chromebook

If you're looking to Download Dropbox on your Chromebook laptop Then read the following guideline.

Dropbox lets anyone upload and transfer files to the cloud, and share them with anyone. Back up and sync docs, photos, videos, and other files to cloud storage and access them from any device, no matter where you are. And with advanced sharing features, it’s easy to share docs and send files—large or small—to family, friends, and co-workers. Features: • Automatically upload videos and photos from your camera roll to cloud photo storage—all in the background—for easy video sharing and photo sharing. • Access any file in your account—even offline—and preview over 175 different file types with no special software required. • Easily send large files by copying and pasting a link you can give to anyone, even if they don’t have a Dropbox account. • Scan documents, receipts, IDs, photos, and more using your mobile device and transform them into high-quality PDFs, so you can view and send anywhere. • Sync folders on your PC or Mac to Dropbox with computer backup, and recover older versions or restore deleted files with version history and file recovery. Sign up now for your free Dropbox Plus trial. You’ll get 2 TB (2,000 GB) of storage space—that’s enough room to save files from all your linked devices. We’ve also introduced some new features as part of your Plus plan: Dropbox Passwords to store and sync passwords across all your devices and Dropbox Vault to secure and organize your most sensitive documents. And with Dropbox Rewind, you can roll back any file, folder, or your entire account, up to 30 days. Existing Plus customers can upgrade to Dropbox Professional. With 3 TB (3,000GB), you can store all your stuff—from work projects to personal photos—and have space to spare. You and your clients can comment on most file types without leaving Dropbox. And you can protect your work with a watermark, add shared link controls, or rewind your account up to 180 days. Before starting a trial or completing payment, you’ll see the plan price. This amount will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and on renewal and will vary by plan and country. Dropbox subscriptions renew monthly or yearly, depending on your plan. Your account will charged for renewal 24 hours before the end of your current billing period. To avoid auto-renewal, turn it off in at least 24 hours before your subscription renews. You can turn off auto-renewal anytime time from your iTunes account settings. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase. Dropbox is a secure cloud solutions leader trusted by Fortune 500 companies for their most sensitive data. Over 14 million paid users choose Dropbox because they know they can count on a company that’s also dedicated to their security and privacy—no matter what they do or where they are. • The interface keeps getting worse and worse

Latest with saving a file is you are shown two big buttons to view in folder or share a link. Is this based on user requests? Personally, I NEVER share anything from Dropbox so having those buttons pop up each time especially when I might have a dozen or more files I need to save uniquely very irritating/annoying. The app was not broken but it’s continually being given a makeover when it comes to saving files. It still won’t overwrite an existing file anymore but appends an (x) if a duplicate name. I’ve never seen this in any other file management app but this one. What we had early in the year worked fine but sure let’s keep fixing it.

It does the absolute BARE MINIMUM it can possibly do in an effort to get you to pay more. So disappointing.

Use the website. Easier than app. Great for sharing photos.

Love the app. Wish I had a way to play all my saved beats in like a playlist form
  • Apple hobbled Dropbox

In the cloud wars, it looks like Apple has successfully hobbled Dropbox. On Android, Dropbox's photo uploads are flawless, running in the background and insanely fast. On the iPhone, photo uploads don't run in the background. I literally have to watch the upload for it to continue. One family visit has been uploading for more than a month. I'm hard-pressed to believe that the same dev team that created the Android experience somehow doesn't understand background processes. I like Dropbox a lot. So why the harsh star rating? I'm not sympathetic to a billion dollar company crying about its treatment at the hands of a trillion dollar company. Figure it out Dropbox!
  • Awful, terrible, waste of time

I wish there was zero stars to give it. You need to go to school to understand how to use it. It is not intuitive and it is not user-friendly, there is no good documentation on how to use it. Do not waste your money or time

I have thousands of pictures over the years saved that are organized by date uploaded so I used to scroll down to find them. Now there is a "display limit" that won't go past February 2020. Bring back the convenient limitless display so I can scroll down to everything in my dropbox or I will not be using your services anymore.

Just not quite up to par with Google Drive. Struggles to load videos over 40-50mb, doesn’t show items in folders I’ve been invited to unless I use the direct link, and 2GB of memory to start with. Wouldn’t pay to upgrade for more memory simply because your free version is just sub par.
  • Not user friendly

If a new person simply wants to send a file or folder it should be easy as drag drop add recipient(s) send up front

Dropbox is a scam the claim you can back up and store information while paying 19.99 every month, they some how loose data, then play the email game for weeks while they keep charging you, this didn’t just happen once too me, but twice after the first time they did help recover information, after loads of time communicating back and fourth but the second time my business is just at a loss be smarter then me !!!
