User friendly, provides excellent resources and support. Provides major education on health and wellness. Believe this has really helped me be successful with zero drinks for almost a month. Highly recommend.

  • I Quit Drinking

    By artssec
I’d set out to limit my alcohol consumption to 2 drinks a week and ended up quitting drinking the week I downloaded the app. Competing against myself while understanding the cost of drinking made it motivating & do able. Highly recommend but you have to want it.

I have already left this comment to them within the app and I received a response that my concern (detailed below) is due to privacy issues. Not sure I understand that “why” as I have private information stored across many apps If you are super involved in this app you will notice that there are many spaces to enter your thoughts on topics in Daily Tasks, take a lot of time to consider prompts in Challenges in the discover section and do some thoughtful, comprehensive journaling. I like these mindful opportunities but and incredibly disappointed that the information and app use is not parallel between an iPhone and an iPad. Not only does the information entered between the two devices not match up, neither do my current statistics on dates. So, if you download, decide first if it’s easier for you to type on your phone or tablet. If I’d known, I would have started this journey on my iPad. Journaling your stream of consciousness “for 5 minutes” on your phone is not very productive. You may ask, “so what’s the big deal having two different sets of information stored on two different devices?” When you put this much work into your well-being and want to review your progress at the end of the day, it’s simply not convenient to chill with two different devices. Other than that, I’m really pleased with this app: the Daily Tasks, the challenges, the courses, access to daily Zoom meetings, the forum (happy the developers added the functionality of responding to comments using the @), the toolkit options and so much more. I have tried going alone and traditional closed-door meetings which did not work, but this app has had a huge impact for helping reset my thinking on the negative affects of alcohol. For that, I’m very grateful.

This app will lead you on for a few minutes, but it cannot be used without paying for a subscription.
  • Extremely effective

I’ve tried to stop drinking many times through many means - will power, self-help, in patient, etc - this time I finally found something that works. The Reframe app worked for me. Will it work for everyone? Maybe not but worth a try. It uses science, support groups, daily assignments, reading, and cutting edge research to help. You need to be ready to put the work in but it’s all there. There is a forum of like minded people ready to respond and help, an additional service of one on one coaching which I utilized which was amazing, and many other tools. The monthly fee? Worth it. Because I spent that amount and more each month in alcohol. After 100 days alcohol free I’m a different person. Give it a try and you’ll find people willing to help.

I highly recommend this app whether you’re trying to cutback or totally quit. I admit I was skeptical at first. But now I look forward to completing my daily tasks, learning more and moving forward in my life

I love & appreciate this app. It has been helpful for me to check in. There’s many different aspects to this app to fine tune it to your needs & what works for you during this life journey. The forum is welcoming & no judgment. You can & ought to be honest to be true to yourself using the forum & actually all the different tools on here. If you’re here then I would highly suggest giving it a try. You have nothing to lose & all to gain. Peace.

Daily tasks consume just about 15-25 minutes. Some of the daily tasks longer/shorter than others. Overall I’d rate this app as a 9/10. It is worth the investment if you are looking to change your alcohol habits
