  • I never subscribe to things, but…

This app is so worth it. It has taken the place of leaving dozens of recipe tabs open. It makes it easy to share the recipe with whoever is cooking at home that night. I can even use it to plan my food for backcountry trips. The only subscription I have I’m truly happy to pay for.
  • Best Recipe Keeper!

I like being able to keep all of my recipes in one app. Being able to sort, label, change serving amount and deleting along with many other features is great.
  • This app has been a life saver

The only reason I will leave a 4 star instead of 5 is bc when using my phone I can’t directly send to the plan to eat app from Pinterest. It’s much easier to add new recipes from a desktop but I use my phone more for meal planning. But this app makes planning and shopping so easy and quick.
  • This is the app you are looking for!

I like to think of myself as an organized person, but finding systems that work to stay organized and ahead of meal planning is hard! This app takes the cake! I wasn’t sure if I would use some of the features, but I use and couldn’t live without them all now! There is some leg work on your part to get your recipes into the app, but copying and pasting from a photo, although tedious, is well worth the time (and brain power!) you will save in the long run! My grocery list makes itself!!! Our family of 5 eats plant based whole foods which in itself takes a ton of planning and prep work so I don’t think we could pull it off without this app! You can tell someone who actually meal plans, shops and cooks designs this- it’s so intuitive and doesn’t skimp on the small details!
  • Love this app

So easy to import recipes and plan meals. My absolute favorite feature of the app is that when your subscription expires it lets you export everything for free. Not that I need to, this is one of the few app subscriptions I have and always renew but it’s comforting to know my recipes won’t be held hostage if at some point I decide to move on.
  • I’m SO Grateful!!!

This app is an answer to prayer. Seriously! What used to be so stressful and take hours on end is now a breeze and it’s something I actually enjoy! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
  • Amazing meal planning app

    By Kmh45
I’ve been using plan to eat for 9 years, and it just keeps getting better. I appreciate that I can import the recipes my family already eats, and I’m not searching for a meal service that will fit foods my kids will agree to. Love how organized it makes me, I can meal plan quickly from anywhere with the app, and easily track down recipes without digging through all my cookbooks to make grocery lists. Highly recommend!
  • Not really that good

    By Healinhand
I like that it will make a list of ingredients, but there unorganized an you get a 1/2 cup of this and the same thing for another recipe. I gave it a 1 because it scans well, otherwise it would have been a 0
  • Reduces Waste and Save Time

    By jonahelliot
I’ve been using this app for three or four years now. I’m SO pleased that they added the drag and drop rescheduling functionality on mobile. It’s saved me a ton of time and it helps me reduce food waste. I started using it before I made a career change—I’m a grad student now, and it’s more helpful than ever. I have zero free time, and my budget is tight. This is well worth the annual subscription cost.

I am an avid budgeted (love you, YNAB), so after I watched a YNAB video introducing Plan to Eat to me, I decided to try it. I have gone from spending $500/month to $90/week on groceries (saving $140/month!) with this app. Pays for itself, quite literally. It’s allowed me to truly have one place to save and review recipes from different sights. The “shop” feature is great, too. I add recipes to the app as I come across them. A few days before I go to the store, I talk with my son about what we want to eat and I look at my schedule to see how much time I have yo cook on which days. I plan out our meals and my shopping list is automatically updated. Then I can delete what I already have on hand and add items that aren’t in recipes (cereal, coffee, toilet paper, lol) and I know I can stick to the list and not stress about what to make. This app is great, it really has helped this single mom do a better job managing my home. And I love saving money!! 🤑Thank you!!
