  • Good idea but useless application

    I agreed with above reviewer, who noted these problems three years ago.I started with the smart line app a year ago and it seems as if these problems have not been resolved. Two rings and no voicemail (text of the voicemail) but that means you’ve already missed the call when it comes in. So when you try to answer the phone after two rings or even four doesn’t seem that’s a possibility . I tried Go Daddy support and got some information today but I was on hold for a half hour it seems as if they SmartLine experts are not as available. I’m going to try downloading again to see if I could actually get calls coming in but that’s an important component will check back. Dr

    Could not send or receive pictures after sending one picture. I followed all of the troubleshooting advice, still did not perform as advertised. Did not use a 800 service , luckily I was just about 8 hrs in to this App free week trial after setting up the monthly payment schedule. Thank god I was lucky and didnt just throw 10 bucks down the toilet. Expected much better from GoDaddy ..

    When relying on this for business and the app is completely down for an entire day with no estimated time for restoration , it makes me think Go Daddy is ditching this product on purpose. This app experiences frequent outages with very little support or communication from Go Daddy. I’ve been using this for 2 years and it’s time to switch to something else

    Updated it when I couldn’t make a call out. Still couldn’t make a call out. So I logged out & then it gives me an oops something went wrong. That you have been notified. Now I can’t login to call people. Very frustrating….
  • App has major bugs

    I’ve been using the app since Oct. 2021. 1.) you do get to select a business number that is separate from your personal number. This is the main reason I got the app. I only pay $9.99 monthly. Not bad. 2.) I do like the log that it tracts with the interaction between you and the caller. You can pass images, see the call exchange times, as well as text messages. Very similar to WhatsApp. Problems: 1.) you can only send 1 photo at a time, and often the image will say “not delivered” but it was indeed delivered. This message also happens with some text messages too. 2.) the app itself is very slow. When trying to refresh to see notifications, it may take several hours before the notification actually appears in the log. Which is awful especially if it is a text which needs to be immediately seen or responded to. 3.) often times my app will show there is a notification, but doesn’t clear once the notification has been seen. This makes it confusing because you don’t know if there is a new notification or not. 4.) the app is very unreliable for receiving phone calls. Or when you need it to load to make an outgoing call, often times it will not load.

    I can’t believe I pay $10 a month for this. I’m about ready to cancel my subscription. Every other week the app isn’t working. On top of that I have to send messages over and over because they pop up as “not delivered” as soon as I press send. Thirdly, all of the pictures and videos I receive from my clients come up grainy and fuzzy. I have to have them send pictures and videos via Instagram or some other way. Just an overall disappointment.
