    Unusable if you want to watch a GP after the fact. You click in and just get spoilers all over the place. Incredibly frustrating at best and race-ruiner at worst. This app is one of the worst apps for a major worldwide sport. Disorganized, buggy and straight ugly. Do they have devs or designers actively working on this? Literally doesn’t seem like they do. They should look to the F1TV app for example of something UX friendly.

    The app itself is designed terribly, with as much money as Dorna and the FIA make you’d think they could pay to have a decent user interface designed. Not only is the functionality terrible, but AirPlay doesn’t work with the app. The entire purpose of me purchasing the subscription was to watch MotoGP at home, but the developers pathetic product isn’t even functional. A disgustingly massive rip off, avoid using the app at all costs.

    Trying to scrub video is and always has been INFURIATING. Dorna, just put a video on an iPad and try to slide the playhead. How it remains so inaccurate, is beyond me. People frequently want to rewind sport, more than the 10 seconds, and trying to do so is needlessly difficult.

    I was ready to pay them 130 euros for this season but nope, they make everything difficult. Here’s a tip folks, make it easy to take my money. You didn’t and now I’m done with you for the third time in about five years. Plus the app and Roku app spoil everything if you aren’t watching live (I’m not). They have a tab for no spoilers but when you have to log in all the time it resets back to race winners being the first thing you see. In a post Rossi world they really should be trying to keep their fan base. Dorna clearly don’t care, they read these reviews and say thanks to all the 5 star ones, which are just fake Dorna employee reviews anyway.

    I have a paid subscription and watched the race in Argentina 2 weeks ago, but this weekend I am getting a message that I need to subscribe. As I read past reviews, I see the problem is not a new one. If MotoGP wants to attract more fans, this is not the way to do it. Whoever is in charge of the App should be replaced with someone who knows what they are doing and who can hire people who know what they are doing. This is a ridiculously expensive subscription, and as one other reviewer put it, it should be “flawless” for the price. I have contacted Dorna for the second time this season about my subscription, which so far has delivered 50% of the races live for 100% of the price, and, given the response time after the last contact, that number is going to drop to 33% of actual live coverage for me.

  • Lost ability to scroll forward

    For the most part, works very well on my iPad. This year I lost the ability to scroll or scub the video forward by dragging the progress bar. Only the 10 second forward and rewind buttons are available. Used to be able to skip pre-race interviews and prep and get straight to action. No longer can do that. Please fix that.
