This update continually asks to approve of adding VPN permissions and leaves the connection unprotected. The latest update turned off the kill switch by default. Windscribe provided no warning to their customers, leaving us leaking unprotected data!

After latest update, the program keeps on requesting to add VPN Configuration! Each time I start the application. Is there a solution for this problem? Thank you in advance for your help, Best regards,

Signed up for 3 years for $50. Seemed like a great deal but on a 400 mbps connection, best I’ll see while connected to a Windscribe server is 80 mbps. Mullvad, while nearly 3x the cost, would give me 400 mbps with any of their servers. Disappointing to say the least but at least I know now why it was so cheap.

Updated 3/10/2023: Now officially stinks. It’s never connected anymore, and I only find out because ads are showing, meaning the app has failed to do its job. Enough snarky, poorly written responses to app reviews—spend the time producing a working product. Was: Daily I find my VPN disconnected with a prompt to add new configurations. What is this, and how do I make it stop?

This is the best and it’s so generous free up to 10GB I love you so much my favorite vpn app can’t wait till my birthday on December so I can pay for this app I would voluntarily pay for this app even if I don’t use it this is how good it is thank you so much

Does not work and has not worked since 2019. I have contacted support and have been unable to get my app to work since the owners changed. They do not give a [email protected]$ about customers and charged my card for an extra despite providing no service or help. DO NOT use Windscribe. They also request and default to using your precise location for themselves, and while you can toggle it off it is completely contradictory of the function of the app. Update to the response: I have contacted support and the app suddenly started to function again, only after mentioning potentially initiating a chargeback via my credit company though and not after my multiple initial requests. While obviously it may be unrelated the company nor its associates have done anything to make me feel as though my information is safe nor have they made me feel like I am getting all the service advertised/payed for. Based on the responses I received I, personally, will be cancelling and feel as though I have been cheated in some form. Previous issues with the company were able to be resolved in days, my latest issue took approximately 10 months to resolve despite frequent logins and attempts on different devices. I truly hope for your other customers that this was an isolated incident but I will never be returning and will ensure all my friends and family never use this service.
