  • Evolving an Eevee - not what I expected

    There is this lovely function in the game where if you name your eevee something specific, it will evolve into the eeveelution of your choice! For example, name an eevee "tamao" and it will evolve into an umbreon! So when I got a shiny eevee, I cannot express to you how excited I was to get my literal favorite pokemon, shiny umbreon. TURNS OUT this naming system only works ONCE. ONCE! And when I evolved my shiny eevee, it became a flareon. The shiny that looks near identical to its original. I'm beyond upset by this. How was I meant to know it only worked once per game file? When am I ever going to get another SHINY eevee, the literal definition of rarity. Not to mention the other games other issues, such as how buggy AR mode can be (i just switch it off) or how it either detects you walking while sitting still or that youve walked none after 2 hours straight of walking. Or the annoying achievements to progress like "throw 5 great throws IN A ROW" This game has alot of flaws, and I've enjoyed it fine and even have spent at least $20 total in the past for it. But this is the last straw. Knowing my favorite pokemon is basically impossible for me to get now because the game failed to tell me this naming system only works once.     Dear Pokémon go once I almost got a Galarian bird and it’s hard to get right.and I never get legendary and it ran away.so am sad so can you give me a legendary Pokémon.please!!!and your game is fun but it’s so hard and it’s so hard to get a legendary. Thank you!

    Ok, this game is really good and I love that you can send gifts to your friends it’s so cool and fun! I’m level 38 and I have so good strong Pokémon! I feel like this game should get more stars then just get 4 stars! Because this game is better then 4 stars! This game is amazing! Keep updating and putting knew things in Pokémon go!:) Thank you!;)

    The app is great. There are lots of Pokéstops around and there are beautifully amazing, creative, and colorful Pokémon. There are fun events to help you on your Pokémon journey. The part about this app that I love the most is the great deals you can get. I’ve seen a special type of coin in the shop that costed 1,000 regular coins. Looking at the limited time deals, I could get that coin plus additional items for 550 coins. There are different kinds of boxes for different kinds of players. And, all of the deals are steals!!! A few things I would improve: - be able to discard eggs - up the daily coins receive limit OR develop new ways to get coins (this one I don’t care if it doesn’t happen) - i don’t know what else, such a great game!!

    Matchmaking is horrendous. YOU WILL GET MATCHED EITHER WITH YOUR EXACT POKÉMON OR ITS EXACT WEAKNESS. CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS TRASH. MATCHMAKING BEEN A PROBLEM FOREVER, THEY REFUSE TO FIX IT.

    Ok, so, this game is fun and is a good game to play if you have free time but y’all need to fix this log in bug. This doesn’t happen super often but when it does it loads like half way then it say ‘failed to log in’ with the options of retrying or trying a different account. And I don’t think any one would want to waste their time trying to log back in because y’all can’t make a decent game. Some people don’t even remember their username or password so they basically can’t play anymore. And sometimes when I try to log back in it says ‘sorry we couldn’t log u in. Pls try again later’ or something like that. This annoys me. And most of the time when I log back into the game all the Pokémon I try to catch flood. What’s up With this crap?? PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE. I will update my review once the game is fixed. Have a great day.

  • Terrible support and cash grab game

    Poffins are only obtainable for free through daily research quests for scanning poke stops. If you accidentally submit a low quality scan, the game will no longer give you these quests and will force you to pay for them with in game currency only. There is no warning for this at all and it’s permanent and not reversible. Reached out to customer support which gave a copy/paste reply and when I asked for escalation, they closed my case. I’ve been playing since 2016 and have been a paying customer as well. Why would I want to continue playing if my account is now permanently crippled? Upcharging customers by incurring penalties is not a good way to get customers to spend more. This game just isn’t as fun as it used to be.
