  • Rare: Excellent App AND Customer Service

I love Flo, the premium features are worth the price, it has so much useful content I’ve never used a tracker app like it! To all the people who are complaining about it being pay to access simply need to go download any one of the dime a dozen, free, simplistic period/pregnancy trackers since that’s what they actually want. Flo is so much more. The extra course in awakening/taking control of your desire (or a name something along those lines) was incredibly helpful and insightful, especially for someone not knowing where to start. The little q&a message boards, articles, live sessions, etc were also great for more inexperienced ladies to get solid info plus dispel some myths about women’s sexuality and body insecurities which I would have loved to have as younger person. That’s not even mentioning the insanely insightful tracker part itself! Then, to top it off, the customer service is excellent which is so unusual to have one or the other let alone both. I had a misunderstanding about the subs/billing and they cleared it up with absolutely no problem at all. The creators of Flo are brilliant and genuinely doing a service for us ladies interested in more than finding out when our period starts,

I have a free app that allows for more things than this. It’s very limited on things. Especially like adding symptoms. It’s crazy to me some symptoms are not available and you have no way to add them in.

I loved this app and used it for years. I’m disappointed that the free version is very limited. You can barely do anything or read any notifications that lead you to an update. I used to pay for premium up until recently and it was pretty helpful although I still find it pretty limiting compared to what others offer. Such as tailored suggestions for fitness, nutrition etc. Anyways, now that I’m back on the free version I might as well delete it.

You can’t press on anything without it requesting for you to buy pro. Besides that it’s pretty good.

  • Another white man profiting from women’s periods

Women’s periods cost enough as it is. Meanwhile the man who created the app is charging more than tampons for a subscription to an app that gives you simple googleable information about your period. Do not pay the greedy man. On top of that, they offer you a “free subscription”, and they immediately steal the money right out of your pocket. It’s disgusting, I’d like an answer, but I know what the real answer is already. Greed

I don’t understand why.. everything gotta deal with premium.. I can’t click on one thing without trying to make me subscribe.. it’s annoying

Flo is a great app! I really do love it, and I’ve been using it 8th grade. However whenever I try to learn more, more specifically on cases when my period is late. Whenever I talk to the bot, at some point it will stop telling me things and ask me to subscribe when I don’t. I know I could just enable free trial but when trying to learn something personal about me and why it is late? (In this case my period) Then I have to subscribe to an app? I understand almost… I think ALL apps/games have some type of subscription, needed for certain things, but in this app its not the same. A lot of women use this app, and it helps them but the way I think you could make it more better is to just have the subscription use to other things. And maybe not in a time when your trying to learn about something so that you understand your body more. And the fact that its telling you to subscribe so you understand your OWN body a little bit better? And then just waste your time, enabling free trial or then canceling the subscription. It doesn’t make sense at all! In this case especially! I can probably say this also for many other more women! If the developer(s) see this review my only ask for you is to maybe fix this and instead, when talking to the bot, or wanting to learn more don’t ask for the subscription. Because then its just asking them to pay for an app just so they can learn more and understand their own body. Please understand this and take this into consideration! I’m sure of you! Many other women will thank you! Side note: I’m not saying get rid of the subscription, or any of that stuff. I’m just saying! Maybe… when the question pops up about subscribing or enabling free trial? Only have it do that on certain stuff if it makes sense. Like I said above— it doesn’t make sense when trying to learn more and understand your own body women shouldn’t have to pay, or “enable” a free trial. Please developer(s) take this into consideration! I promise if you change it I will write another review but with 5 stars! Edit: Hi again developer(s)! I saw your response to my review but the reason I'm writing this is because what you emailed me about doesn’t answer my request on asking to change the things when being asked to be subscribed! Yes I understand you’ve told me about wanting to make sure this app is secure and ad-free but it still doesn’t seem right! Today I tried learning more why my period now often tends to be late! But then mid-way the bot stopped telling me things and asked me to subscribe! Now I see in your response you’ve asked me to check out Flo Premium, and I did but then I cancelled it. I don’t understand why you have to pay for an app so a simple teenage girl like can understand more about her OWN body? Pls developer(s) read this edit and at least add some more things to the free option? Not everyone has the option to just “pay” for an app. When they all want to do is learn more and understand their body.
  • Needs to auto save

This app has potential but it’s actually really annoying that it doesn’t auto save symptoms. So many times have I typed in a temp or a test and don’t hit apply so it doesn’t save and I don’t realize it until later.

Can’t use any features without paying for premium. Surprise another greedy app 😭might as well just use your calendar and google all the questions you have 😭there are lots of features I might consider paying for but nearly every feature being premium is silly to me.
