  • Great app during Covid-19

    By Junkfood2
I started this app during Covid-19 when my gym closed down. It’s a great app and worth the money, and that’s from someone who doesn’t buy too many apps. I like having this app even after gyms started opening up again because, …well… life is unpredictable. I only wish you could download a work out offline. Sometimes I like to do my yoga in remote places that doesn’t have cellular or internet. I started with the yoga for sanity, but moved on to barre to isolate and focus on certain areas and added HIIT for aerobic exercise. All three are great apps!
  • Has changed

This is nothing like the version I tried 5 years ago. Then it was real people leading the session. And you could choose from a huge selection. I don’t care for the computer animation leading with my choice of 1 out 5 computer voices. The session was too short, and left me feeling like 60% of my body still needs to be stretched still. Last issues are the poses didn’t really flow from one pose to the next and some poses weren’t done completely/ correctly
  • Amazing app for guided practice

    By Travelduck2
Nearly same experience as being in a studio with an instructor. Well formed sequence of poses, precise audio guidance and video demonstration. I feel like I’m exercising with a partner. Thank you to DownDog for guiding me in your practice !

This app is great. I love everything about it. I got it because it was free for teachers because of COVID 19 and it has helped me during very stressful times.
  • Love it!

  • Best yoga app I’ve ever used

    By Wendissen
If you’re looking to get into yoga or just want to do yoga with different motions/routines, than this is the app for you. I’ve been using this app for about 2 years now, and I can definitely say It’s 110% worth it. You can change music genre, instructors, different stretches/workouts, and even difficulty levels. You can choose different experience levels you consider yourself at. The best part is they have long extended free trials because of the pandemic. This is just some of the many things you can do with this app. You can even have it track your workout on your Apple Watch! I’m addicted to yoga because of this app! YOU WONT BE Disappointed!
  • Stress Reliever

    By Braincell612
I really enjoy having this app. I feel like I have my personal yoga teacher 24/7. I’m a runner and having this yoga app to supplement my running has worked really well. It also helps me take the edge off when I’m really stress. Thank you.
  • Improvement suggestions

I love the app and that the subscription covers all the downdog apps (I use the yoga and meditation apps every night). There are just 2 things I would improve- 1.] I wish the “favorites” tab had better organization. Currently, it doesn’t separate your favorite sessions from the different apps (for example, my fav yoga and meditation sessions are dispersed amongst each other instead of being separate. It is only categorized by which session you favorited most recently). It also would be helpful if each of the favorites could be categorized by time (ex: 20 minute sessions v. 10 minute sessions) and type (ex: focus on shoulders v. Focus on lower back). 2.] I wish the yoga app had more “focus” areas. For example, instead of the basic “shoulder” or “lower back” you could also choose things like “good for digestion” or “helpful for period cramps.”
  • Best At Home Yoga

    By mistysprout
Consistent but always varied. I love this app, maybe the most of any app I own. The concept is amazing and the execution is near flawless. Why search endlessly for the best video of a yoga flow every day, when you can tell DownDog exactly what you want, and get a high quality flow that includes exactly those things? Use is so straightforward your kid could use it. It saves your history so that one flow that really worked for you is never lost, even as you generate new ones. Excellent music selections that you can open in Music and add to your library. It’s like everything was thought of, down to how you receive instruction about breathing and the poses, and what your instructor’s speaking style is. Could not overstate how well this app fills the At Home Yoga Class niche.
