Live free in the Sun! An elegant and modern solution for showing the Sunrise, Sunset, First and Last Light times to the exact minute for precisely where YOU are right now - not the "closest" city. The app also shows exactly how much daylight is left in the day - in a large, easy to read display - so you can plan ahead to the last ray of sunlight. Download it now. It shows: • Sunrise time • Sunset time • First Light time (Dawn) • Last Light time (Twilight) • Converts timezones for foreign locations • Counts down the amount of daylight left in the day until last light • At night, counts down the time left until the first light of the new day • Counts down days, hours and minutes left until the shortest and longest days • Dates of the equinox and solstice • Times of the equinox and solstice for premium users • See the Sunrise, Sunset, First and Last light times for any day in the future. • Length of daylight for today - or any day in the future. • Percentage of the day or night completed. • Correctly handles Daylight Saving times. • GPS access is not required. • Landscape support on iPad. An indispensable tool for those who don't want to waste a moment of the day - or the night! • We wrote this app for ourselves, but love sharing it and getting your positive feedback. Sometimes you just want to know and this works wherever you are.
  • Simple and quick sun info

Also shows first and last light which I find more useful than sunrise /sunset info for planning outside activities
  • Excellent APP!

Ease of use, simplicity of format, lack of extraneous intrusive advertising, all make this an excellent app. I work on the beach, so I plan my day according to being there before sunrise in the mornings. 5 Stars
  • Too expensive

If you decide to download this, be aware the cool items like looking into the future are locked down for payment. And not a one time payment either. I just stick to asking Siri when the sun rises and sets in the future.
  • Is it still light there?

We know that the higher up in the country you are makes a big difference in the length of days, but how much? This will let you compare Seattle and San Diego!
  • Expensive

A very nice app with limited free features. The deluxe features are only available with a fairly high cost monthly or yearly subscription.
  • Ridiculous cost

I used to have this a while back because the data was free. Now they are charging for each month. Seems like a really steep cost for something so basic. Going to use my new programming skills to create my own free version. As fast as I re-downloaded this app, I’ll be deleting it.
  • Notifications?

Hello, Does the app offer notifications like 15/30/45 minutes before a sunrise or sunset?
  • It’s changed

Not as good as it used to be
  • Charges $2/month for super basic info, not worth it

The free version of this app does nothing more than weather apps I already have. If you want something more useful, you have to subscribe. I would be fine with a small onetime payment, but this is not available, despite the authors previous claims. You have to subscribe. There are lots of free services on the web that do even more, I'll just use those.
