There are at least two things missing from the advanced training section that where there when I first subscribed, two things I looked forward to trying out. I’d like to know why those things were removed. I’d write to ask them but I only get an error message when I try to contact them.
  • Pointless app

There are plenty of better apps that’s gives you similar games. The aspect of paying so I can play the same game over is ridiculous I understand to play different variety of games but pay 5 dollars so I can play the SAME GAME AGAIN come on now terrible.

So, I’ve been paying for this service for years. I put up with being harassed for reviews. I put up with be constantly coerced to do what *they* wanted me to do. I was a Grand Master at some games. A Legend for years at another. I constantly scored at the 99th and 100th percentile. I logged in today and was told that I was close to leveling up. At the game that I’ve been a Legend at for years. I threw the app away and relaunched. Three times. Same result. I restarted the phone and relaunched the app. Same result. Bye. If you can’t do something as simple as keeping score, what else can’t you do? I don’t want to know. And I’m not paying you for the privilege. From a business perspective, you’re morons.

I took the plunge and signed up for the paid version and almost immediately it started forcing me to watch ads to get to the next game or, of course,Sign up for a full year and pay even more money. Good luck with that business model.

New ads are interfering with the games and causing me to restart the app.
  • Great but flawed

I’ve had the paid version for several years now and it’s my go-to to kill time, but with as much as I use it, I definitely encounter flaws. Objectifind- I can tap on the correct object 2-3x before it registers, meanwhile, if tapping something much smaller than the rest, it registers my tap on the wrong object. Just seems like it’s triggered to work against you. Word Fresh- why doesn’t it allow nouns? Word Hunt- 1. Why can’t I highlight a word starting from the last letter? 2. Why does the tip tell you to swipe as fast as you can once you find a word but when you do, the highlight exceeds the word and won’t register the word until you back track your finger. 3. Why aren’t there more than 20 categories?! There should be hundreds. This is a paid game afterall. (Same complaint for Slider, there should be more than just 10 game boards.) Grow - there are some letter combos that even jeopardy geniuses wouldn’t be able to get 3 or 4 words from, let alone your average or above average person. Word path- sometimes when bringing a tile back to the pile, it freezes on the game board. You can then put it back again, but now it doesn’t register any valid words made and the game has to be restarted. Flight Path & Speed Spotter (and others)- not fair to score based on how many of something that’s supplied to score. For example- flight path- if I end up with 5 letters and 3 of them are the same letter, and the other two are random letters like q,x,z what the heck am I supposed to do with that? Crash it and wait for more letters to be released one at a time? That wastes the timer, ultimately affecting the score. Same with the Speed Spotter I can only spot as many “bad guys” as the game provides. I’m often waiting with a full supply of balls and no bad guys. Then the game ends and my score suffers. These examples are things that shouldn’t impact my brain score as I am at the mercy of the app. Connect ‘Em Up is just stupid. Same with Decoder. Turtle Traffic- sometimes the only option is to jump over something and there’s NO WAY to avoid hitting something that is placed too close. It’s set up to ding you. I have completed several surveys when prompted but not sure what good they do as they do not allow for any written feedback, so how do you know what needs to be changed? Would love if at the end of games it showed consistent summaries (All results, not just how many words OR longest word, etc. Tell me all of it, each time. Would also love the option to ply against other players. Same game boards for each, see who does better. Also would like to see a global score board.

I paid the money for unlimited games and it is so worth it! Love that I can pick and choose games easily using the Games. I’d really love to be able to go back and review a game when I am having difficulty...is there a way to show an instant replay? Sometimes I simply don’t understand why I was marked wrong and would like to see it. (Example...spin cycle) Some of the games that are supposedly for memory are not, they really call for staring at the screen until it disappears and recreating what your retina shows you. This is not really memory. (Examples...Perilous Path, Memory Sweep, Bounce, Tracker). And finally, some games would benefit from some randomizing. In Connect Em Up it would be nice to play second sometimes. And in Flight Path, it would be nice to have the bonus color on the upper left hand sometimes, rather than always on the right.

I have used this for several years to help me work on my 63 year mind/brain. The range of games allows me to different instead of the same ones over and over. I recommend you what age you are to try the games for several months and I think you will keep use them.
