    Noom helps keep me on track and provides helpful nutritional information and holistic approaches to healthy eating habits that incorporates psychology, sociology and grounded research into the program.   • Paid for Subscription and App Does not Recognize

    I paid for the 10 month subscription up front and on Day 2 the app reset. Once I deleted the app to reset it, my original subscription was no longer recognized and now I do not have what I thought I paid for. I have contacted support via email with a response of “Your subscription did not go through “. My bank account states otherwise. Waiting for a resolution as I liked what I thought I paid for.
  • A money grab with shady application design.

    Tried to set this app up. Had a code to get a discount. If you set up an account on your iPhone you do not have access to discount code input. Moved to setting up online and then was completely derailed because my email was tied up with a failed attempt to sign up from my phone. Customer support played dumb and acted as if this was never a problem. Then my partner signed up and used a 50% off coupon. I then tried again minutes later with a new email address that I had to create just because of previous issues stated and all the sudden the 50% coupon was not a valid coupon. Poor design and poor customer service won’t help anyone lose weight if you cannot even access the platform.
  • Great info but a very buggy app

    Even though I didn’t think I had any hang-ups about eating and diet Noom has helped me to discover a few. Also, it’s helped me to see where I need to improve my eating habits overall. I am getting value from that. But the app itself is buggy. Two weeks in it reset my steps goal and erases data on the daily. No big deal per se. But it is nice to go back and review your progress which it seems to retain none of day over day. Also, you can only see daily progress not monthly progress. The Noon guides were super involved in the first two weeks, granted I’m not the most responsive but now 5 weeks in and crickets. Overall, the benefit for me is in the tracking of food and calories and seeing what kinds of foods I’m eating so I can make adjustments and for that it’s working. I am sure that I’ll continue with the app after 3-6 months as it’s a hefty cost for all the bugs and general lack of functionality. I can probably get something better working elsewhere.

    I have been on Noom for about a month and actually haven’t lost anything yet but have learned so much about what and why and when I eat and am getting a knack for logging that I am sure I will start losing soon.

    I am actually learning a lot and am finding it easy to stay in the zone I need to to release weight! I have a lot to lose but already released 2.8 pounds in the first week!
