    App itself makes it difficult to meet anyone. Do not recommend unless you are ready to drop a bag of money for a simple match. Even then no one responds.

    I wonder who is Hinge going to permanently ban and give lifetime psychological trauma to today…….is it a lonely and depressed 27 year old male who literally NEEDS Hinge to find companionship before he commits suicide? Or are they going to permanently ban a 23 year old woman who told a guy she’s not interested in him and then the guy reports her out of anger and revenge. Or are they going to permanently ban a 39 year old male because he asked a 32 year old woman how her day was, and the Match Groups terrible inaccurate artificial intelligence flags that as an offensive question. Or my favorite, is Hinge going to permanently ban the 34 year old math teacher who has SUCH a big heart, but he puts his Snapchat and his Instagram in his profile because like 90% of people, he did not read the terms of service, so Hinge decides to ruin his life and causes him to be lonely forever by permanently banning him for something so innocent. Over a year ago, before I was unethically and inhumanely permanently banned, I was using Match, and their artificial intelligence stopped me from asking a woman a question. The artificial intelligence asked me if I’m sure I want to send the message because it contains offensive language. My question to this woman was: “What is the best part about your job?” The artificial intelligence flagged this question as offensive. AND THIS IS THE TECHNOLOGY THAT IS PERMANENTLY BANNING PEOPLE AND CONTRIBUTING TO EXTREME LONELINESS AND DEPRESSION FOR SO MANY PEOPLE? THIS TECHNOLOGY? TECHNOLOGY THAT THINKS “What is the best part about your job?” Is offensive? You have got to be kidding me. This companies banning policies are negatively effecting thousands and thousands of people’s lives in the worst possible way, contributing so so much loneliness and depression, and yet their artificial intelligence thinks “What is the best part about your job?” Is offensive. PLEASE LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. YOUR COMPANY ONLY EXISTS BECAUSE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS. WITHOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS, THE MATCH GROUP AND TINDER AND HINGE DO NOT EXIST, SO LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS.

    Many people on this app use it for the sole purpose of “trolling” or harassing people. These people will report you over false accusations so that you are banned. When Hinge bans you the odds of you getting unbanned are slim to none. If you appeal and decide that the person banning you has more merit than you, the ban will remain. Any attempts to contact Hinge will be ignored. Considering how important online dating and specifically Hinge is, the fact that this app operates like this is very unfortunate for some, myself included. The reason for the 1 star isn’t because there’s bad people on the app, there’s bad people on all apps. The 1 star is because Hinge takes the word of the person reporting you over your word. Let me make it extra clear, if Hinge for whatever reason decides not to appeal your account, that is it. You are banned indefinitely.

    Loved the set up process and was excited for possibilities. I’ve been on just a week. The first day I went through all the people that were supposed matches. None were. Since then, every day I get a message “no new matches “. Yes, I have broad preferences. Worst dating app experience ever, including Facebook and that’s free! Just wasted $99 !!!

    Just like the title says. After taking a break from dating after a breakup, my friend encouraged me to get back out there. Hinge worked great last time, so I tried it again. Right after paying for the subscription, I got a notification I was banned. Per the FAQ, “ In many circumstances, we do not provide banned users with reasons for their ban. While we recognize it may be frustrating not to fully understand the specifics behind a ban, please know that a variety of factors can contribute to your ban: reports on your account, review from our content moderation team and/or automated decision making.” I wish I knew what I did wrong. Doing a chargeback to get my money back.

    I’m a paid subscriber and i got locked out of my account since i changed my phone number. I tried contacting customer service but it took them 3 weeks to respond. Their response didn’t resolve my issue so i wrote back. I’m waiting for their response again. Do i need to wait another 3 weeks? By then, my subscription will most likely run out. What a waste of money!!!! I need a refund!!!!
