  • BUGS!

Love the idea, and it saves SO MUCH time and money compared to normal grocery shopping. However, there are SO MANY bugs that make the app almost unusable. On iOS, the most recent update made you unable to create a new list. There is no way to manually override it. Attempting to start a list on a different device is a no-go, because the lists do NOT sync. And again, no manual override. The app is different on iOS and Android, with no search feature on Android. I love this service. It saves time. But if these issues aren’t fixed, it’s more frustrating than useful.
  • Used to love this

I used to really like this ap. Raved about it to all my friends. Been using it for years. There have been good menu updates that made it more flexible to create your own weekly menu. Where it lacks gusto is printing recipes and printing or sharing the custom grocery list. I have made numerous suggestions to fix it. Get lip service “passing it along”. To print the recipe from your phone you needed to share it with yourself in a link to a text (no link to print in the AP) … that provides the print option. But now many of the recipes will not “share”. That also allowed a cut and paste option for the ingredients to create a grocery list to print or share. I create the meal plans but I share the cooking and grocery shopping with others in the household. These suggested updates are so simple to make …but for some reason they just won’t do it. Loosing a good customer over it.
  • A Waste of Potential-will order things not needed

It seems like EMeals is a way to simply over purchase items and make Walmart more money. The whole point of using EMeals is I can pick recipes and the shopping is virtually done for me. Except that instead of ordering 4 leek stalks, which I would think 1 bunch would suffice, instead it order 4 bunches. So I just spent $15 on leeks! For one meal! The recipe for meatloaf burgers sent a big bag of almond flower to my cart, but there is no almond flower in the recipe, so there’s an additional $11 not needed! Same recipe called for 1/2 jar of pickles; app ordered 2 jars. Recipe says you need a little thyme leaves? App ordered 2 whole bottles. Need some fresh thyme too? App ordered 4 boxes of that. This is ridiculous. I guess it offsets that by buying one sweet potato when the recipe calls for 6, and buying 1 zucchini when recipe calls for 2. So now not only did I pay for a bunch of crap it appears I didn’t need, now I gotta go buy what was missed. What a waste of an awesome idea! This is literally the app to answer my prayers, but it doesn’t work.
  • Diverse meals, no print function.

I like this app for meal planning with my family’s diverse tastes, though one thing I noticed is that they don’t have a print button on their recipes. If the developers could look into that and possibly add that feature, it would really improve my experience using this app.
  • Scammed!!

    By MrsGuz84
I signed for the 2 week free trial and was instead charged for the full year on day one. I contacted Emeals who told me to dispute it with Apple. Apple declined my refund as not eligible. Now I’m out $65?! Without a free trial? What a complete FRAUD.
  • App needs a lot of maturing!

    By B2Na
Pricey for what you get. Few recipe options, app glitch when transferring items to shopping cart. I just found the app “Whisk”, soooo many options, app works seamlessly, and it’s FREE!!
  • No

Why are you guys making people pay before you can even see the organization of the app.
  • Recent ap changes are not good

    By Calypso1212
It’s much harder to look at all the meal plans since the latest update. Please put it back. I’ve been using this program for many years (even before aps and smartphones) but will be considering other options when my renewal is up in a few months.
  • Stop with the Walmart Plus adds. It makes it difficult to manage your site.
