  • Free version does almost all I need

    By jiraffe
I've tried other free task managers, and they fell short in either features or usability. Todoist easily lets me categorize, prioritize, and break down into sub-tasks. I just wish I could get reminders without having to pay for all the other premium features. A little more granularity in premium features would be nice. And it would be nice if I could manually rearrange tasks within the same priority.
  • Have to pay to set up a reminder !!!!

Really wished I could give thus a ZERO star. LOL, I cannot believe you need to pay to set a reminder!! What a joke. DELETED.
  • Best To Do app ever

    By gregbott
This is by far the best app I’ve ever used (and I’ve used many) for tracking and managing tasks. The design is innovative, the code is stable, the workflow is genius. I absolutely love it. We’ll done, developers.
  • Great App, But The Widget Could Use Some Work

    By Enteringanicknameisapain
The app is great—the natural language processing and other app integrations make it really useful. But the widget needs a bit more pizzazz. At a minimum adding circles to indicate tasks and/or color coding by project would be great.
  • Love it!

I searched through like a dozen To Do list apps a couple years ago, and Todoist was the one I ultimately decided on. No regrets! It has pretty much all the functions I wanted from a to do list app, and it keeps getting improved all the time.
  • Almost Perfect

    By DaveD0117
I have used this app for over 5 years and introduced it to many people. It is has many features and benefits and is easy to use. The only thing I wish it could is something I saw in another product, when adding a reminder by Siri, it automatically ports the Siri reminder into the inbox. There is no need to invoke the work “Todoist” when creating a reminder. Other than that, almost perfect. Thanks Todoist team 🙌

This is the end all be all app for productivity! The creators are simply geniuses!
  • No longer a viable option for me

    By Quark Gluon Plasma
NEW: I am still looking for a better todo list app, but the recent price hike takes Todoist out of the running for good. OLD: I have slowly realized that development of this app consists of adding features that people might like, and fixing bugs that have been introduced. The app is never going to be as good as an app designed for iOS.
  • Love the app

The list is easy to use. I’m using it for tracking my home projects and chores, plus packing and to-do lists. I like that I can view projects and tasks with either swim lanes or lists. It’s also easy to assign an item as a sub of another item. There are a couple ways I think it could be improved. 1) make the “View completed tasks” setting sticky. Every time I use the app or even switch between projects or lists, I have to turn it on. I want to see completed items 100% of the time. 2) Make sharing projects easier - there’s something about the flow that’s not smooth or intuitive. 3) When I tap on a project that has sub projects, the parent project is empty. It would be nice to tap on it and see the child projects and their respective tasks.
