  • Didn’t think it was possible

    I didn’t think it was possible but with the latest update they managed to make this app even worse! It was already very buggy to begin with. Often not connecting to the camera. When it does connect and you download a video clip from the SD card through the app, it cuts off a good portion of the video clip at the end and it saves and plays back the video portion at half speed while the audio portion seems normal speed. So immediately everything is out of sync. But now with the latest update it’s even worse. Now to review video clips on the SD card I have to do three taps instead of one. The option to go straight to the video clips from the main screen is gone. I now have to tap on a collapsed menu and choose “record” (should have a different label) and then it says “no videos saved”. To get to todays videos I have to tap on the calendar icon and choose two days behind. For example today is May 19 so to view todays videos I need to choose May 17 and then the videos from the 19th will appear. However now when playing the videos back in the app to preview them before deciding if I want to save them to my phone, the indicator that lets you know where in the video you are and how much of the clip is left is now gone - which also means if the clip is 5 minutes long I can no longer skip to the part in the clip I want to see. Also filtering on snapshots doesn’t work. It will show you the thumbnails but the spot where the larger image should be when clicking on the thumbnail is just white space. Just go back to the way you had it before! Don’t mess with this redesign. Yes the app was still buggy back then but at least it was somewhat usable. As it stands right now you have managed to make my camera completely unusable! What a waste! And I can’t reprogram the camera to use some other app or software - I wish I could! But we are tied to this app. So can you at least make it work decently?!

    Not sure what others have been experiencing but my thoughts experience has positive using this app. Easy to use, responsive and straight forward. I love the frequent updates as well.

    The cameras are constantly offline when there is nothing wrong with the network/internet. What is the point of remote capability when the cameras cannot be reset remotely. I am passed the return date but the cameras are pure TRASH!

    I have yet to be able to use my camera. Every time I try setting it up, I get a different error message. When I finally get past one, I get yet another one. This app is ridiculously cumbersome and needs to be updated. I might even return the camera given the horrible software support.

    I never give bad reviews but this Camera and App are worthless. I have deleted and readded the app, removed and reset the device on the app, reset passwords…everything I could think of. It doesn’t seem comparable. I hope people read these reviews prior to purchasing because I regret not doing so.

    I really like this camera. I use it for my pets. I’d give it five stars but recently one of my cats has been ill and, even with cloud storage, it does not record long enough to be helpful. I get only about 16 seconds even though she is still in motion and it’s not long enough to show my vet what is happening with him.

    I have 5 cameras and they worked pretty well. Then got a notice to update them and now I can’t access my account. I forgot my username and the app has forgotten it as well.
