This is not a critique on the magazine at all. I love the magazine and was thrilled when I saw there was a mobile option. The problem, however, is that app is not the most user friendly. The app is really glitchy and crashes often. The app also doesn’t refresh by itself, so you have to constantly quit out of the app to get new daily articles. Finally, there are just a few other small glitches, like being unable to scroll sometimes, that get me a tad frustrated. I’d suggest investing a little bit into some UX/UI.
  • App doesn’t work if you have an Apple paid subscription

on an iPhone. The developers are clearly uninterested in fixing this problem. The Restore from iTunes buttons, rebooting, and reinstalling does nothing. I’d buy a subscription from the Week website in the future if I do it at all; perhaps the support would improve with a login account.

Very wonky. Unable to read even though I have a subscription. New issues don’t readily appear. I have incurred additional charges due to trying anything to get the new issue up and readable. Love the magazine it the app is killing me. Gregg Herman

In my hands, or online, The Week Magazine gives a great look at both sides of major issues. Information from around the world provides a rare insight to what people from other countries see and feel about major topics that we all need to deal with. There’s also always some good laughs in special sections. For sure, one of my most favorite magazines, and websites, on the market!

I have been reading The Week Magazine for probably 15 years or so.It is by far my favorite way to stay informed. I sometimes use the app when I’m stuck somewhere and don’t have the paper magazine with me and I find that the app is quite easy to use.

The Week in my mailbox weekly is excellent. What surprised me is that the online version is, too. It is easy to navigate, laid out just like the paper version. I like it almost as much as the paper copy.
