  • Don’t buy GHIN Enhanced gps-crashes on Apple Watch

    I purchased the GHIN Enhanced GPS app and my Apple Watch crashed with each use. I really wanted this subscription to work so I tried several attempts. After rebooting app several times with no success, I requested refund from GHIN. Note to self: You must request refund from Apple. I should have requested a refund immediately rather than try to get the app to work. Apple refunded me only a partial payment due to time difference from initial purchase — don’t wait! Request refund immediately with Apple, the GHIN enhanced app doesn’t work with Apple Watch.

    Great upgrade to enhance Apple Watch functionality!! Now it doesn’t work at all and won’t even install on the Apple Watch. Tech requests have repeatedly gone unanswered. Why do these developers have to continue to tinker, often making things worse? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!! Go back to the previous version. Very frustrating.

    I have paid for the enhanced subscription and now the latest update no longer communicates with my Apple Watch. I have turned off the phone and watch to see if that helps but nothing seems to work. The watch just continues to “search” for a signal from the phone. Very disappointed with GHIN and now a waste of $50.

    Anytime, I try to use the app when I am playing nine holes and not playing off the front of a course the app automatically crashes. This seems to have happened with the latest upgrade. I hope they will fix it. I have emailed a couple times with no response!

    The app crashes mid-round every time I use it to keep score. The score that point is lost. I’ve asked for a refund but never get a response.

  • Loved the app when it worked correctly

    I used to be able to post my scores hole by hole, which was awesome. Since 3 days ago the app closes when I try to use that feature. I’ll choose post hole by hole, select the tees and date, then hit post and the app closes/ shuts down. I am able to post total score from and back but that doesn’t keep hole by hole stats, which i like. I sent an email via the help button on the app but got no feedback. Problem continues to this day.

    App previously worked well, now cannot enter scores at all, have attempted to play around with GPS and won’t work either. Force closed instantly after transitioning from tee box and # of holes selection screen

    Worst app ever. Constantly crashing then can’t restart. Do better USGA with all your money.

    This app often restarts and asks to either Finish the round or Delete the round. Hitting finish will resume where you left off. This happens to quite a number of golfers at my club. No issues with cellular service either. Another issue is that after nine holes and making the turn, sometimes the app will not allow me to enter scores for the back nine. It only displays the nine holes played, even though I selected 18 holes when I started the round. I really like this app and want to use it, but it is really frustrating that this has been happening for a long time.
