  • Mostly great!

Expensify is easy and intuitive to use. A few times though it’s not synced up and has lost receipts so make sure you back up receipts!
  • Repeat work

Clicked add details on popup after scanning and filled out the details but then when I went back to expenses it showed smart scanning which failed and prompted me to fill in details myself which I then had to do a second time. Buggy
  • Very bad customer service

    By Jdash64
This has become a very problematic service. It used to be good but now it isn’t. They won’t even call you if you have a problem just online chat. I had missing data and they couldn’t recover it yet it was in Amex they loaded some of it but not all. Spent hours trying to get them to resolve it. Look elsewhere
  • So-so

The website is more functional but this makes do for scanning receipts. Misreads categories often (Avis is not a restaurant, btw), a few other minor irritations, but a handy app. Way too political, why can’t companies quit trying to convince the world they are cool and just focus on their customers?
  • Can’t organized by category

    By Manasota
I’ve only used this app for a few days, so I may learn to like it better. However there’s no easily apparent way to organize receipts by category. The reports just include every receipt with all categories lumped together. I would like to be able to do reports by category. Other than that, it’s an easy way to scan and store receipts.
  • Constant emails with no unsubscribe option

    By aikosmom
I don’t want to have share a whole bunch of information with you just to unsubscribe.
  • Does not allow to upload pdf recepits

    By Pbhagtani
I am not sure why but with recent update you can no longer upload your time df recepits from your phone. This is stupid to me. Not all receipts are physically available to click pictures sometime you need to upload pdfs as well.
  • David is a liberal nut

    By pandora is weak
David, don’t send political commentary to people using your app. Stay in your lane. I am certain our company will move away from Expensify and go to a company that is more professional and does subject employees to liberal commentary.
  • Solid App

    By davidcalhoun2
Overall it is a quality app. Easy to perform critical tasks. The one complaint I have is that the primary screen on app launch feels fairly useless to me. Add to that the fact that every other navigation item is hidden behind a drawer and it takes me several taps to arrive where I need to be. I’d rather see a tab bar navigation at the bottom of the app and some useful ever-present content on the main screen, e.g. recent expenses/reports widget.
  • Horrible user experience

Simple things are so hard to find. App tries to be cute over functional
