I have had this app for a few months now and I LOVE it!! It is great because it shows you the hole and then distances as well! I did get the subscription for my Apple Watch and it works great! Definitely worth my money!! I hope to see maybe like a mini hole layout on the screen of my Apple Watch because the distance that says “plays like” isn’t very helpful but I still really recommend!

I was good with the Golf Pad app until I added the tags that are sold separately. For the life of me, they just don’t work. After setting up my clubs. I have found when playing around and trying to enter your clubs, they will only scan them about 50% of the time. I would not recommend adding the tags to your golf clubs.

This app is loaded with features that are simply too complicated to use. I have no idea how to correct a score once it is entered and the online instructions are of little value. Worst of all, it is not accurate for some of the best local courses. I would request a refund if I could figure out how.

I went from a 29 to a 21 handicap over the last 3 months with this app. I don’t play a shot without it. Once it learns your distance it’s nearly spot on. I am nearly pin high on every approach shot. If they make an app to help with the left/right part of the game I would buy that too. Bang for the buck you can’t beat this app. Will be getting the tags soon as well. I love it.

I have used this app for years and love it. It is the least complicated and most responsive of them. However, a few months ago a bug has crept in. I cannot exit the app from my watch. I exit it on my phone, but when I use the sequence for exit, it just reloads on the watch. I have tried every approach. I turned my phone and watch off several times. I have even deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times. Nothin has worked.

Just switched from SwingU and played a round with this. The yardages loaded instantly, were accurate, and I could switch between apps or lock my phone and they stayed loaded. SwingU had such a delay which ruined the vibe. Golf Pad from now on.

The app works fine when there are no glitches. Unfortunately the glitches are numerous with no obvious recovery options

I loved golfpad. Used it exclusively for years. For some reason it no longer tracks strokes gained. Contacted support. Have not felt responded to. More like ignored. This past Saturday played with friend who uses it based on my recommendation. His not only shows strokes gained, it has features mine does not…plot a shot and see recommended club, remaining yardage…sweet! I want that, why does his have it and mine not? But really..I want the strokes gained. I want to verify where my game is weakest so I know what to practice. Frustrating to not have it and not be really helped with it. If not for that full five star but the deafening silence is really irritating.

The only thing I don’t like about this app is that I cannot see distance for hazards on my Apple Watch. Other than that this app would easily get five stars from me. I also just recently paid for the subscription which wasn’t bad at all especially when comparing prices to other apps.

Had an issue with getting one tag to work so I contacted customer support. Within 24 hours (on a Sunday), they reached out and had a solution. Life is good!
