UI terrible

The fact that you cannot pair activities inside of the application is terrible. I do not own a computer so trying to pair a workout on the web version works maybe 10% of the time or less. extremely disappointed that I pay for premium and cannot do this. I’ve used this application for three years, and this has been consistently requested and has never been improved.
Should have done Yrs Ago

I wish I had used this years ago. I’ve always been searching for a way to collect all my workouts into a common database and calendar view, and this is it! Absolutely love it!
The year 2000 called and wants their tech back

The app has barely changed since I started using it 10yrs ago. So frustrated with the limitations and lack of useful feature development. It’s basically a repo for data for them to use/sell and an app marketed as something it’s not. So, my coach and I can share data / communicate in the platform, wow, that’s super low tech. Can you enable me to do more with my data? To interact with and view it better? ESPECIALLY on the iOS app! The iOS mobile version is limited so much that’s it’s basically useless. I give a 2 out of 10 for UIX.
No Workouts Available for Import

Update: My issue that I described below has been resolved, and I greatly appreciate the app developer’s responsiveness in handling it. If you run into this issue yourself either after upgrading to iOS 18, or moving to a new phone like I did, head to the workout import page under Apple Health settings and leave it open for about five minutes. What’s confusing is that a little refresh spinner spins and then goes away and then gives you “No workouts available to import” and you think, “oh it didn’t find any workouts.” But it could be still building the list of available workouts. As I said at the top of the original review, this app is straight up janky in some places and this is one of them. I left it open to this screen and when I exited back out to the app dashboard, my workouts had been imported and things appear to be flowing from Apple Health into Training Peals again. I changed my review from 1 star to 4 stars to reflect the update. The app still needs a lot of work compared to a Strava, Athlytic, etc.
Original review:
This is not the smoothest app to begin with but I was happy as long as it was sending workouts to my Apple Watch and importing my workouts afterward. For some reason after the switch to a new iPhone, Apple Watch workouts no longer import to Training Peaks. When I go to the Workout Import screen to manually try to import workouts, it tells me “No Workouts Available for Import.” I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app, resetting Health permissions, resetting my watch, iPhone, etc. Submitted a request to Training Peaks and have received no reply. No way I’ll be resubscribing if they don’t sort this out. All of my other third party workout apps can see my Watch workouts without issue.
Needs dark mode

App works great but a dark mode will definitely help. I don’t always want to be flash banged by the white background.
Must have for any serious athlete

TP has been my “book of record” among my different watches and devices over the years, and its combination of data, planning, support and ease of use makes it unmatched. They care about the athlete, unlike other brands trying to connect you to instagram while you workout.
Customer service is garbage. No refunds.

Cancelled the same day I signed up for it and the support system feels like a Ponzi scheme. App doesn’t follow the tutorials, no access to your own account, and they just send you to apple and actually refuse to call you. Out $50.00.
Keeps me on track.

More data-focused than Strava. This keeps me on track for trail running and ski touring. I use Trainer Road for workouts though, especially in the winter when the snowpack keeps me out of the skin track, and I wish those activities would sync to the TP app.
Needs better AppleWatch, Strava, and Peloton Integration

A user should be able to select which workouts you want to upload into TrainingPeaks rather than have it auto pull. For that matter, if you ride with Strava and it uploads to AppleHealth, it doesn’t pull into Training peaks. Same thing if you do a Peloton ride that writes to Strava and AppleHealth.
Latest update doesn’t show achievement medals

I applied the latest update and I can see that a workout has a medal but I can’t see what it is for anymore
