  • No sign in for those who signed up with Google

New subscriber and unable to use the app because there is no option to login with Google (how I registered in the first place). Come on!

  • Needs a couple of changes to reach full potential

Love the content but I have a couple of complaints about the app. 1. Please provide a search bar! I can’t believe there’s not one already. 2. Please let us zoom into pictures in each article. I don’t want to have to save photos to my camera roll in order to see the (beautiful and stunning) photos in greater detail.
  • Search!

    By jeoshea8
Wish I could search for articles. And wish that if my friend texts me an article it’ll open in the app and not safari (which never keeps me logged in)
  • Search Function?

    By mpescato
…Just a thought. I find myself using the internet instead of the app solely because I can search for topics, authors, and articles.
  • Disappearing completed puzzles

I just updated the app. All my saved completed puzzles are blank. Why?
  • No search function?

    By Cap'n EO
Although I love the content, the inability to search for an article by name is almost comical. Really?!? Without search, it’s not an app of The Atlantic’s great content. It’s just browsing. Extremely underwhelmed with the app.
  • In search of a search feature

    By Cream of Gold
The Atlantic app is an exercise in style over substance. I like the minimalist design and it’s very readable. However, I cannot fathom why, in the year of our Lord 2022, the app lacks the ability to search prior articles. This is an essential feature that every peer/competitor of The Atlantic has in their app. I cannot in good conscience give this app more than two stars until this omission is remedied.
