  • Ads for premium users

    Even when you pay for the premium service through your organization, they still send you ads. Moreover, many of the ads completely crash the app. There is often no way to exit the ad, and the only solution is to quit the app completely. This is terrible UX. It would be simple for a competitor to create a better experience- surprised it hasn’t happened yet.

    This app could be amazing except it forces ads on you before you continue. I understand clicks are important for revenue generation, but please make the ads smaller or something. Prefer to get rid of them altogether.

  • Helpful but always have issues

    This app is helpful when it’s working correctly. There are often issues with the app with some features not working… my parents always have issues with receiving app notification. I have to reach out each time to TeamSnap support and they have to run a code. I’ve had this happen more than a handful of times. Now invoicing tab hasn’t been working since December 2022, we are in May 2023 and the invoice tab is still “down” issues adding invoices. This is very frustrating as it’s my way of keep track of what needs to be paid. There is never issues with TeamSnap collecting their payment for the monthly upgrade though….. & I use this app for 6 teams total.

    Reading update info and seeing all the cheesy jokes. Work harder on app and less on bad jokes. The email communication is bad and confusing. When an email is sent you cant click on it in the app and respond you have to go to your email acct. so whats the point of the app. Forced to use by my soccer team or I WOULD NOT USE IT. Pictures when viewing are slow to view and is very time consuming AGAIN NOT USER FRIENDLY 2 stars cuz its free *** update was going to place a review and i already have. This is app is glitchy as well. My notification badge will not go away with a 1. I have reviewed all chats emails and other tabs, never goes away, updated, didn’t work. So just more problems once i had soccer season back on and FORCED TO USE THIS GLITCHY APP

    When a chat is created, you are unable to add people to it or remove. When team members are added there is no way to add them to a parent chat outside of the main team chat. Please address this issue.

    Everything about this app is slow. I receive notifications and then click on the app and it takes FOREVER for it to open the chat and then when it does open it doesn’t show the newest messages right away it still takes time for those to push through. In a situation where fields and locations change and you know there isn’t service time is of the essence.

  • Privacy concerns and terrible ads

    I’m concerned about the data this app tracks and gives to 3rd parties. My kids are required to use this app for their club sport team. But TeamSnap doesn’t tell you what kind of data they keep and how they sell it. There’s no options to turn off the tracking in the app. The ads are also deceitful where they hide or disguise the button to close the ad. So you often click on the fake “x” on the ad and are sent to the website. It’s misleading and dishonest.
