  • Great product

    By RVSJoe
I use this product professionally. It’s a great product that is easy to use and helps me complete my job. This app is easy to use and provides a lot of tools to get my jobs done. The maps are easy to get, and the information is easy to share which is extremely important to me.
  • Trash

    New update is absolutely trash
  • Ruined

    By garystonks
New update is trash. A nearly flawless product has been ruined.
  • Motorcycle ride

    By Old Trail Rider
I just used the app today instead of taking a paper map of the trails, the app showed me with the blue dot where I was at all time so I knew what trail to take. It made my ride a lot better.
  • Great Tool

    By Bcdl
I use Avenza daily to help with my job and any outdoor activity. I would’ve gave it 5 stars but the new update is not as good as it was in my opinion but still love it.
  • Takes hours to find the Spot

    By LizHikes
With the tracking feature, it’s easy to leave the site and return later, even in the dark.
  • Does not work on Apple iOS

    By Maverick X3
Despite many attempts to allow access to location settings, the software will not recognize the permission on Apple iPads or iPhones and therefore will not work to display location on the map. Completely worthless.
  • Going downhill

    By MKK guy
6 months ago the rev limited the number the maps because of referencing at startup. Now with 4.0x I have to limit the number of layers. What next. A year ago this was one of the best mapping applications I have seen. Then about 9 months ago revisions start to take away its greatness. Don’t waste your time
  • You have to purchase the maps. $

    By Mdroz28
This app comes with NOTHING but a requirement to create an account so they can send you spam. I was hoping I could find local maps with hiking trails since I live on a mountain with many hidden gems. To my surprise, you must purchase any and all maps.
  • Excellent

As an experienced rafter this has been a real great tool during river trips to track location and measure miles. This is a good addition to the physical Rivermaps because the app does not include details on rapids, hikes, camps, etc.
