I don’t understand why it is impossible to sign out of Plex, which my friend signed into and secured with a PIN. I had to delete the app and reinstall it just to get it working.

I downloaded this app so we could watch Just a Gigolo 2019 (How to be a French lover) but instead it starts playing Just a Gigolo 1978, completely different movies. You have to fix it

Plex app has been great. Everything works well except for having issues with chrome cast. The app constantly disconnects when I switch apps. Or the app crashes in the background. And when I open Plex again, it stops the chrome cast from continuing playing the movie. Also the search for available chrome casts takes a while. If there’s an available SDK update to improve functionality it would be greatly appreciated.

The app resets your download all the time which is ridiculous. Can take forever when traveling and trying to download. Same with if you switch from WiFi to cellular it completely restarts.

I bought a lifetime membership to Plex Pass (which apparently does NOT mean customer support aside from their “user forums” where users who NEED help are left to get help from each other because the company simply sells you their product and never supports it!), and I’m simply trying to “LINK” a new device (Meta Quest 3) to my account using the Plex app on my iPhone (which I mistakenly assumed would be the EASIEST method. Boy was I WRONG!!!! Why they choose to intentionally hide this extremely basic yet core feature is beyond me!

While the app does a lot of decent things, the most important features for me simply don’t work well. I want access to my media wherever, whenever, which I would expect to align with the vision of this sort of project. Unfortunately, the downloading features are TERRIBLE. I have successfully downloaded some items, but usually can’t get downloads to work properly. The ones that work don’t even play well. I try to play a downloaded item and it buffers. 😂 It clearly is trying to stream the video instead of using the downloaded version. How could you mess this feature up? Hands down the worst downloading features on any app I’ve ever used, which makes this most unusable for me.
