As a daughter from the era of returning Vietnam Vets and a registered nurse for the last 30 years, I applaud this book and the recognition it gives to the women of service and of healthcare.

The new version is slow to load and crashes regular with Car Play. Also the Car Play screen is trying to sell books. Stick to listening. The car is not a place for ads. Every time Amazon overhauls the apps it’s buggy and crashes for 6-12 months. I would hope testing would have caught up by now.

I’ve enjoyed all the books in the Mary Russell Series and this one is no exception! It’s an easier, lighter read than some of the older ones. I found this one perfect for a fun, summer book!

Wow. This is a must read not only to get to know a candidate for high office but to understand the plight of an unfortunate segment of America. We must do better.

Was noticed on the very first book I ever read. Very long and detailed conversations that simply couldn’t be remembered to put to print later. Once I know that part couldn’t be totally authentic I simply can’t continue not knowing what else is not authentic. Exact same thing here with this book long and detailed conversations that no way could be authentic. It simply couldn’t be remembered even if you were writing it down at the time you were conversing with this person or persons and considering he wasn’t in his physical body when this was taking place you obviously wouldn’t be able to do that. I simply don’t believe when he came out of it he recalled everything. hence, unfortunately, I have to end this book halfway through.
