So, I had a bug report for the game. Under certain circumstances, either the player character or an enemy gets stuck someplace unfortunate. In one case, the player character ended up *inside* a wagon. No way to escape. In another, an enemy ended up on the wrong side of a barrier inside a facility you were supposed to “sabotage,” and couldn’t be killed. Since killing all the enemies was necessary, that meant the level couldn’t be completed. In each case you had to abandon the level and all weapons and loot. Frustrating, but I had enough information to characterize what was happening. So… the “support” link takes you to Netflix support, which has only an article that says “tough luck,” no way to report anything. So I spend 12 minutes “chatting” with “Elsy,” who ends up emailing me the same article because “you can email about the issue.” Of course, the email says “don’t reply because this is an unattended email address.” So, my advice is don’t bother with the game unless you dig frustration. But if you like that, go for it! It could be a good game, but I don’t see how they’ll ever fix any bugs.

Wow making games is so easy! All you need to do is flip a bunch of assets that other people made, chat with your buddies at Netflix and BOOM! Published game!
  • Good game! Just needs some tweaks

I'm really enjoying the game thus far but one thing I keep running into is the level cap. It's kind of starting to feel like a cheap way to kneecap the player instead of having the game legitimately challenge them. Plus, I'm a total completionist so it bugs me to not be able to fill out a skill tree completely. Aside from that the only real issue I have is that the game pad controls are really poorly planned/designed and make playing difficult. Otherwise the game is honestly pretty great!

What is this nonsense, game crashes in a battle and you lose your gear!! How was this obvious bug not already resolved
  • Almost a great game

Love the aesthetic of the game. The movement is mostly good, though you’ll occasionally walk through a wall or something but not be able to damage any enemies until you get out of whatever you walked into. The basic problem is with the aiming/shooting ability. The touch control on an iPad is definitely screwed up. Trying to aim takes way to long, then once you do get on target you have rearm every few shots. Touching the aiming/trigger to shoot causes the aim to shift way off target. Standing still, target acquired, press/touch to fire, aim point now 180’ off target? Pull the trigger and get spun halfway around? What the heck is with that? Definitely need a better way to aim/fire. Definitely never walk and shoot, aim point drifts all over the place. No walking backwards and shooting as you go! Great concept, decent execution, major issue to fix. This is on the “easy” setting. Tried the “normal” setting first. Still not able to get half way through the first encounter. Dropped to the “easy” level figuring I was doing something wrong, surprise, aiming/trigger too sensitive to touch. Play plenty of fps, love the gameplay and controls of say DIABLO Immortal which have similar controls, left movement, right aiming/triggering no drifting of aim point as you touch to fire. Obviously these developers need to tighten their code on the targeting/fire control.
  • ok but buggy

I kinda like this game, The controls have to be tighter by a lot. The joystick doesn't work so great all the time. Also the board where you have to sabotage the warehouse or whatever always messes up and either puts an enemy on the other side of the wall or there is no enemies around and you can't continue cause you supposed to kill them all first. Other then that really cool atmosphere, I like it, just needs some touching up and more styles of boards added
  • Fun & glitchy is a frustrating combo…

Solid concept. Fun. But mostly Frustrating & glitchy. There’s nothing worse than building up your weapons and cash only to lose it them when the app crashes - which it frequently does. Often you can’t even buy back your weapons or, when you do, you lose them again AND the cash spent to recover them. It’s wonderful that Netflix offers these games as part of their service, though when the perk doesn’t deliver, it ain’t so perky. It’s pesky. All it would take to hit a 4 star review would be to address the crashes and preserve the weapons/cash state when the app exits rather than scrapping it.
  • Solid mobile shooter with some quirks

This is Borderlands meets Smash TV. I love the continuously changing level design so even though I’m repeating missions it stays fresh. I like the looting element, the leveling up, and the gun buyback system. The rolling button is pretty difficult to reliably use on mobile so I don’t use it much and the fourth boss fight was annoyingly difficult. I wish the the tonics and chips weren’t both temporary- make one temporary and another function like a consistent class. I don’t want them to fix the glitch where when you re-roll at the weapons seller, you effectively buy all of them for real cheap!
