    9/10 app. Only missing one CRUCIAL feature. Not sure how the developers published this without an option to add custom expenditure. If I bike for 600 calories I want to be able to track that. My cardio varies day by day and week to week, this would be a simple addition. Other than that the app is PERFECT! It saves me at least an hour tracking every week!

    There are a dizzying number of macro trackers available right now, and I’ve tried many of them. This does everything you could want. Food input is very easy, weight tracking has a seemingly robust algorithm behind it, and it plans your target goals real quick. Im a data scientist by trade and I really love the thing. Big respect and big love for the app. I use it every day :)

    I’ve been a recreational athlete for years and have used various calorie tracking apps—MFP, Chronometer, FatSecret. All were *okay* in that they got the job done. I always wanted something more dynamic. Enter MacroFactor. From the intuitive features like recipe building and copy paste (SO much better than other similar apps), the team behind this app thought of everything and then some. I also love that going over calories doesn’t penalize you. Instead, you still get useful data and the app acts as your custom diet coach by adjusting calories based on changes in metabolism throughout a diet. I can’t wait to see what else this team comes up with. Probably something I never knew I needed but soon won’t be able to live without. Buy this subscription now.

    This app is literally everything you need to successfully track and manipulate your macros whether you are maintaining, cutting, or bulking. I’ve been using is for 3 weeks now and I’m 3lbs down trend weight. It’s user interface is so simple and intuitive that it takes all of the stress out of having to log macros. It’s estimated daily deficit and caloric expenditure are also amazing tools. I cannot wait to see how they improve this app overtime.

    This app has a handful of game changing feature. The “AI assist” feature is especially amazing. There are a couple of odd UI/UX choices, which is to be expected without a dedicated designer. My biggest qualm - the primary buttons like “Log Item” have low contrast to the rest of the page. Every time I enter a food item it takes me a beat to find the “done” button. I’m super excited to see where this product goes next.

    I’m really loving the app so far. Very seamless interface, easy to scan feature that makes logging food a breeze. Also nice integration with apple health as well.
  • Fantastic app, concerned about privacy

    I just started using MacroFactor yesterday and was pretty surprised at how well designed the app is. My only issue is the privacy settings and policy are a bit lacking. Ill happily pay a subscription fee for a service if it’s worth it, but only if I am in complete control of my data. Here’s what I want to see in the apps privacy settings: - a promise to never sell or trade user data to advertisers - a way to turn off all telemetry (I’m happy to pay extra for this, I get you all want to use it to improve the product, but I don’t want all of my calorie info living on your servers.)

    Macro Factor not only tracks calories in a great way, but judges your actual calorie expenditure, shows your current weight trends, estimates your current surplus/deficit per day, and is extremely user friendly. For ones passionate about nutrition, exercise, and achieving goals through losing,gaining, or maintaining weight, this is the app to get. I wish I had this before MyFitnessPal because it does take a little bit to get used to.
