I’m really liking this app so far! It’s not just memorizing vocabulary, it’s understanding syntax, language parameters, and deaf culture. A few notes on app functionality: When in a lesson, there is no ‘back’ button, which can be frustrating. Sometimes I want to reread something or even accidentally press ‘next’ and there’s no way to go back to the previous page. There’s also no way to go back through a lesson and see each section. It needs a subheading to view content and click around each module. Adding both of these feature would make learning through Lingvano better!
  • Great teaching app but…

I spent forever looking for ASL apps the are for beginners but that increases the difficulty. This app does that! It quizzes you in differ ways and goes back over old signs so that you remember everything better! It has lessons, a sign dictionary and “trainers” so you can practice specific stuff (finger spelling, number, signs…). This app is by far the best I’ve used so far and comply worth the money! I’ve had no issues with it, and I’ve had it for almost 2 yrs now! My only issue is I want more!! I wish they would periodically put new content as they haven’t since I’ve had the app. Since there’s no new content you should be proficient in the language after a year or 2 if studying constantly!

I recently started this program and I find it easy to follow and much better than learning from cards or books (for me anyway). I ended up getting the full year program and hope to have a better grasp of signing when complete.

Absolutely love this app, just one suggestion, can you add a feature where you can star words you want to practice more in the vocab trainer?
  • Might as well make people pay for the app.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great app that does help with teaching sign language, but it gives you like 5 free lessons before making you pay for the rest. SMH
