  • Only one feature missing!

The number one thing keeping me from buying this app is the fact that I already have OnX which has CarPlay integration. If this app had CarPlay integration it would easily be five stars and I would buy it today. UPDATE: Heard back from the Devs and sounds like they are working on this feature! This is awesome news!
  • A must have for the off-road junkie

I have used this site for years and am so pumped there’s an app!! I love the maps, detailed trail descriptions that include obstacles and other important points, ability to review the trail, and give an opinion on how it’s rated. I uploaded some of the maps into Gaia but am going to try and just use this app. I met the guys that started this a few years ago at EJS and am really impressed at how much better it is! The 25 bucks is a steal for what this app provides (even more functions on the website) and I plan to subscribe annually no matter how much I use it because it’s an outstanding contribution to the off-road community.
  • Great app

Highly recommend. Easy to use. Awesome camping info
  • Great but needs CarPlay

Easy to use and I love the offline maps feature…but I need it to work with CarPlay
  • Good App. Some Suggestions

App works well. Fun to use to plan future adventures. I’m having issues with the waypoint function scrolling as I use the “Follow” function on trail. Also, it would be nice if the App had a feature where you could indicate the trails that you’ve explored before and maybe a notes section for each trail where personal notes could be stored.
  • Best app to find off-road trails

    By Micah_White
Like the title said it’s the best app to find off-road trails. Onx is good but there rating systems is not accurate at all.
  • Not reliable

    By secureios
I want to like this app so much, but it isn’t reliable. My app version is always up to date and yet, half the time the map doesn’t show anything, especially when zooming in and out. Downloaded states have to be redownloaded. Now that Overland Bound has all their new features, deleting this app as it’s not needed anymore.
  • Good for Off-Roading, Still In Infancy

I was out on the New River Trail on Sunday 1/23/2022 and met two guys in a Jeep who were mapping routes for this app. As a weekend explorer, I was stoked to hear about a new off roading map. I use Gaia, All Trails and OnX. Trails Off-road is off to a great start. Very detailed and easy to use so far. I haven’t taken out on a trail yet but have been seeing what’s available in my area (Phoenix,Az). As of now they have a few of the popular trails but still have a lot to go! I’ll wait to see what gets added before buying a membership. As of right now I think they need more wheels on the ground adding new trails.
  • A must have for off-road enthusiasts.

Is a Jeep Wrangler owner I am always looking for new trails to hit while in my hometown or on vacation… This app has helped me find so many trails, beautiful sites, and areas you would never know existed… This app has an easy user interface, easy to use while on trails, and the off-line download option is amazing security so you always find your way back. If you love overlanding, then this is a must have application. 10/10 Five stars!
  • This App is simply the best for what it does

    By GriimOS
Don’t get me wrong, I use Gaia, OnX, and all trails, they are all good for different things. But when you just want to simply see an easy layout of trails in an area with directions and difficulty( with built in way points and pictures), This app is the best at that. This app is intuitive and very easy to use. I have always uploaded GPX files from Trailsoffroad website to Gaia but I don’t even really bother with that anymore unless I’m planning an entire multi day route. You can download an entire state of trails with this APP for offline use and it used less than a GB of storage. You don’t have to fuss with map layers and settings, the app will even show you camping spots in the area with waypoints. The trail teams who reviews and writes the information on this app are spot on and know their stuff when it comes to off roading. My only gripe is that they should add a feature to track and map out planned routes.
