Thanks for making all the great games in the past. DI was such a huge miss I no longer can support any future game made by Blizzard. Imagine playing D3 but GR is locked behind a paywall. Imagine playing WoW and raids are locked behind a paywall. This is exactly what is happening in DI. Large amount of content and upgrade system is untouchable by casual players. I guess making a quick buck on gambling addicts is better for the bottom line.

If you like Diablo 3 , play this

So to max a single character you have to either play for 10 years or spend anywhere from 50-110k. And that’s not a joke. Stay away from this game, worst reviewed game on metacritic currently

I grew up with Diablo and Diablo II. I was super excited to see this game come to mobile. I haven’t gotten very far yet but I’m impressed with the game play and story line. Only downside is size of game, but luckily I recently upgraded to 128 GB phone and am ready to rock! Keep it up, Blizzard!!
  • Terrible P2W

In what would have been a great game, Diablo Immortal instead because as heavy on pay to win aspects as any game you’ll ever see. Dont even bother with battleground, which is PVP (player vs player). An 8 on 8 affair in which one guy can destoy another team if he’s swipes his credit card enough. Also known as whales, these p2w players feed on the rest of players on PVP. It’s shown already that some people have spent $1000s on this game. Those will be the guys you go up against if you try to rank up to diamond. PVE (player vs Environment) is a little more forgiving. The best clans though have those who grind all day or spend money. Good luck trying to get into them.
  • Pay-to-win game like the others

While I really wanted to enjoy this game after seeing all the micro transactions and real money it takes to be good it’s not worth it. This is unlike any Diablo game where grinding is the key to being good. Rifts after rifts looking for gear would be fun if immortal didn’t have a limit on legendary drops per day. There are so many other open limits and even hidden limits that this game is not worthy of being called Diablo. After waiting 4 years I am sad that this is the outcome. Maybe history will repeat itself and just like Diablo 3 the store will be removed and it will be a real RnG Diablo style game. Till then, skip it or play Diablo 3.

I played this game since the first day of release and now I am at paragon 60 and already spent over $100 on this game. So if you want five star gem, it’s almost unachievable without spending any money, and you’ve to spend massive time to farm better gears to get a bit close to whales. Second, since it’s open world, you can’t farm whenever you want, sometimes those popular farming area just packed. Third, if you want to do solo dungeon, sorry, that’s not an option, it requires four people. So if you want to do an unpopular one at light time, good luck. Last, the most unacceptable thing for me, you cannot party with friends to do PVP/battleground. This is literally the only fun element in the game. So blizzard, if you’re allowing pay to win in the game, why are you not even allowing teaming up at battleground? So if you’re competitive and want to be in some kind of fair environment, stay out of this game.
  • Pay to win trash can

What a great way to lure more people into a money scamming life stealing attention grabbing addiction scheme. It’s a sad reality that a lot of the best games available on mobile are focused on getting every last dollar out of their gamers (customers). It’s just depressing to think that a game developer like blizzard decided to go this route with a game that has original feel to it (Diablo 2 / 1). If you want to be free to play and finish the general gameplay sure go ahead, but any desire to be part of pvp in a competitive manner is completely shattered unless you’re willing to risk a large bankroll. This game is great but even better at sucking dry the innocent children with access to mom and dads credit cards or the people with bad spending habits / health / mental problems that will do anything to get that instant gratification fix of buying the latest gear , just to be passed up by the next guy who’s willing to spend more. Frankly once again the developers of games like this are a cancer and plague to the gaming scene and this should be illegal, but then again most social online spaces are developed this way anyway, so best to just steer clear if there is any desire to make meaning of your real life.
