  • The worst app update in history!!

    We have invested thousands of dollars into Sonos system throughout our house and our outdoor pool area. We have had zero issues with any of it until your recent app update. I now cannot count on any speaker working consistently and my tech guys who helped set it all up said they are powerless to help because it’s a Sonos issue. My pool speakers now work 20% of the time. It’s an absolute joke. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP.

    Don’t let the loud minority of old customers discourage you from buying Sonos or even using their app. Many great features and app runs smooth as butter. Couldn’t recommend this company more.

    I was an avid fan of Sonos and loved the old app. This new app is simply the worst. I can't figure out how to manage my system, integrate streaming services or adjust volume appropriately. The whole app is buggy and my speakers are constantly needing to be regrouped. Ugh.

    Looks over function for an audio functional app is a terrible choice. Functions removed not just moved or hidden. Make this new app optional and bring the old one back.

    Patrick Spence, Your new app may kill Sonos. The new app does not connect needs to reconnect and is a pain and you know what. I have loved Sonos products for more than five years. They are a great investment but now with a new app, they are virtually worthless. I see that you have recognized that the new app leaves a lot to be desired. Sonos is updating the app every two weeks for the next three months. why in the heck did you not beta test this app before you released it?

    The recent (forced) update was so far off the original that I still can’t get my patio TV to simulcast other rooms. It was no problem before. Sonos-test, test, and test some more before you push frustrating updates out! I don’t know if you’re overall rating is going to recover from this. 😡🤬🤯

    Ever since this “new” update my system has been awful. The songs play in the wrong rooms, volume control doesn’t work, and even have missing rooms at certain times. Please go back to old system where it worked!
