They say they will email you to remind you before the free trial expires, but they don’t. They just charge you for an annual subscription instead. Luckily Apple agreed and refunded my purchase. The app does not have a lot of content anyways, would not recommend.
  • Great app, limited audience

This app is really cool and I was excited to explore it. I knew without a subscription my experience would be limited however it’s impossible to not buy the subscription which is over $15 a month. You can read the first chapter (2 minutes worth) of any book. Super disappointing because there’s not much to absorb. I WISH they had a student plan because as a full time college student I can’t afford $15 a month just to read when a library is free.
  • Fantastic except for the icon

Fantastic in every way. The only complaint is that the icon doesn’t do the app justice. It just looks bad on my Home Screen. How can the app itself be a work of art but the app icon so ordinary?
  • Download it now and enjoy

I have been using the app to refresh the learnings and content of books that I have already read. It does not eliminate the importance of reading the whole book however it reinforces key messages. It is a complimentary service. I strongly recommend downloading it.
  • Lame and overpriced

It’s just picture books. Texts with little semi-animated pictures. It said it was like Duolingo but for topics like history, but Duolingo uses multiple methods to teach you - listening, speaking, writing, reading and interactive lessons. If I could learn well by reading, I would just pick up a book. Additionally, the topics are really trendy. So it’s more for reading up on things people might mention at a dinner party or work than actual core knowledge. Not what I was hoping for.
  • App keeps telling me to buy a subscription when I already have one

Then the App Store says I already have a subscription. I can’t read any of the content. Fix this or I am asking for an entire refund.
  • Buggy from First Use

Too pointed for anyone lacking critical thought. Couldn’t open second “book”. You lost me after one use.
  • Would be great if it worked

Loving the app so far - when it’s working. I’m on the monthly subscription, and it keeps blocking my access and offering me an annual subscription. I’ve tried a bunch of things but it keeps happening. Very disruptive, and there doesn’t seem to be any way to contact support!
  • Excellent content but can use UI/ UX improvements

Thank you team for putting together this wonderful nuggets of lessons and learnings. You have truly made consuming this content fun and more likely for my memory to retain. I wish to see the following UX improvements if you can: 1. Responsiveness of the app to iPad landscape mode - Why? There is a segment of people who like to read information/ books like how they read a regular book. Also deciding weather to hold the iPad vertically or horizontally is the first decision a user makes and it’s important to not make them revise their decision because the app is not responsive. 2. Ability to save the nuggets offline- I often read when I’m in the plane (like many) when there is no network. It is disappointing that lucid doesn’t download the whole nugget so it’s a wasted opportunity when you can gain some “hrs” from the user on your app 3. Getting to know the person who summarized/ visualized the key ideas- A little intro about the person and the ability to thank them for putting together a wonderful nugget will go a long way in keeping the user value each nugget more and your team appreciated.
